Unforgettable experience. We were two beginners and the pedagogy of the instructors made the discovery really great. To be redone urgently.

Planet, Darma and Kadir were all excellent. Great few days of surfing, looking forward to hopefully coming back soon. Highly recommend!

I've never done surfing before but I think the coaches at this place are very helpful for the lessons. They divide it into 3 levels (I was in the beginner level) and I like that they only took 3 people maximum for each level. Definitely would book a class at this place again if I ever came back to Nusa Lembongan.

Cool teacher and cool surf school!
The price is a bit higher then in other surf schools but they are all professional teacher, who explain everything you need to know. What you can do better and in what you're already good.
Good training with a lot of fun!

I'm surfing since 3 years, I wanted to improve my skills and perfect my basics and also safely try to surf reef break. At Monkey Surfing for the first time I felt I learn something during a surf lessons.
Coaches are very caring of you, give you a lot of tips and advices.

Such a good experience. There were 6 of us and 4 beginners. The instructors were great and we all got waves, thanks to Planet and the guys!

My partner and I did the 3-day intermediate lessons and couldn't be happier. Our instructor Karl really helped us understand and improve our kinks but giving us instruction bit by bit to better understand where to be on the wave, how to turn, and how to get onto the waves. His expert knowledge of the breaks made it easier for us to focus on popping up and turning into the correct position as he would line us up and tell us which way to go, allowing us to practice the rest. The 3 days have significantly improved our surfing which has helped us get over our beginner - intermediate transition. Thanks Monkey surf and Karl.

Great surf school especially for beginners and intermediate. Ratio of students to instructors is like 3: 1 which is amazing. Planet and his team were extremely professional.

Instructors carefully prep you before going out on the boat (including safety). The reef at Lacerations is very gentle and not scary at all.

Once in water instructors keep a close eye and assist you in catching waves, all while giving feedback and suggestions. I was impressed with how they rotated us one at a time and kept track of who was where and needed what.

These guys were great! Took my two kids there aged 11 and 9 and they gave a great short and to the point lesson before heading out to the surf with top advice. I took a ride out in the boat to the surf with them and had a surf while they helped my kids into the surf. Would definitely recommend these guys.

Pretty poorly organized as we waited around for about an hour to start our lesson. They spent about 5 mins explaining the currents and waves, which was helpful, but didn’t go over any technique or hand signals they used in the water. They kept trying to sell surf lessons packages to people that were just walking into the shop instead of working with the group that had already paid and was waiting for the lesson.

I have surfed before so I knew what I was doing, but if this was my first time I would have had no idea what was going on. The lead instructor seemed annoyed with people when they did something that wasn’t right, but they never communicated what the expectations were in the beginning so it was kinda annoying from a students perspective.

By far, the BEST surf lesson I ever had. Ok, the price is a bit more expensive than other place, but it is definitely WORTH IT! The teachers are constantly with you, explaining VERY clearly all the instructions, it was all organised, safe. They were very helpful, and actually watching you everytime you take the wave. They are IN the water with you, next to you, helping you.
Honestly the Best I ever had.
Also for more experiences surfer they adapt to your level, and will advise you on your surfing.

One of The teacher speak French so it’s very handy for French speakers! Plus side, they have their own photographer who come with us in the water.and pictures are great! And the price is cheap for what it is!

Ce cours de surf étais vraiment vraiment super. Je sais qu’au premier abords le prix nous frainent un peu, mais honnêtement ça VAUT LE COUP! On a étais si bien encadrés, tout à étais super bien expliqué. N’hesitez Vraiment pas une seconde, car de tous les cours de surf qu’on a pris à Canggu ou Semyniak, celui la étais le MIEUX. Les professeurs sont plusieurs, ils nous prennent un par un pour prendre la vague, ils sont avec nous dans l’eau, nous expliquent tout bien, quoi faire, ou regarder.ils nous observent pendant que nous prenons la vague et sont vraiment Focus sur leur élèves et leur faire apprendre.
Vraiment TOP.
Aussi il y a un photographe avec nous dans l’eau, qui prend de belles photos, même si on est débutants, il prend bien au bon moment! Vraiment super!
Je recommence cette école à 200%!
