8 Definitely not Marriott's level quality. Given table with empty utensils container (see pic). Many food keep on running out. Sausages are dry, like had been reheated many times.
Positive note: pastry, Indian dish, and fruit are good.
We had buffet breakfast at Momo Cafe Courtyard by Marriott Bali. We love the variety of food available, including local Bali cuisine and delicacies. A highly recommended place.
Service is great either meals we’ve experienced - hotel buffet breakfast and ala carte dinner. Food is average (not bad tasting) just lacks the local spice and flavors, hence 3 stars.
Breakfast - fresh juices, egg station, croissant and a bunch of local favorites.
Dinner - ala carte of local and international cuisine. Lack spice but assuming it’s to cater for the various tourists that stays at the hotel.
Nice pool so kids can take a dip while adults indulge in breakfast.

Accessible from both the Gardens and Courtyard sides, although it's more on the Courtyard side. Breakfast is Buffett style, while lunch and dinner are a la carte. The cuisine is a mix of Asian and Western dish. The steak is ok (choose the mushroom sauce!), the pizza is a lifesaver for the kids.
They also have alcoholic drinks.
They also do room service, which was reasonably fast. Nothing out of the ordinary but gets the job done.

Bali is listed as one of the most vegan-friendly places for travel. Many accommodations I’ve stayed at offer proper vegan options and have it written clearly on the menu.
However over here, they have one item called “vegan grilled cheese”. Turns out they used dairy cheese. Why put “vegan” if it isn’t at all?
How can an F&B service under Marriott brand not know the difference between vegan & vegetarian? What if someone who is lactose intolerant order it without making sure like I did?
Naming something vegan when it isn’t is messed up.
Please correct your menu. If any dishes can be made vegan, put a bracket next to it that says “vegan options avalable”.
Regardless, I still give 4 stars because the poolside dining area was relaxing and the chef was able to create a vegan dish just for me. They also have almond and soy milk options for beverage.
I don't understand how can this restaurant be a part of a 5-star hotel like Marriott where everything else (rooms, facilities, staff) is amazing.
MoMo does not deserve to be a part of Marriott brand.
- When asked if the juice is a real fresh juice or sirup, we were told it's real. It turned out to be sirup.
- The hot chocolate we ordered which was supposed to be with milk was just a simple black tasteless water with a little bit of powder in it. We had to ask to bring us a new one. The second one was completely different and tasted like a real hot chocolate. Why do we need to ask to do it properly?
- The pineapple fruit had a weird smell & taste. As if it was old. I hope I won't get sick from it.
- When we were served the bill, the bill had a "feedback form" with the rating. This form was hidden under the bill and was already pre-filled by staff as "good" across all 1-5 rating boxes. This fake rating form is likely submitted to management and since the staff fills in fake rating without asking guests for a real one, the management will likely never know that any of these problems exist. Hopefully someone will read this and my review will improve the quality of the service.
