49Foods was superb. One of the best local restaurant we have ever been in Bali. We had tasting menu selection it was the best decision ever.highly recommend this place.
Don't let the hype get to you. It's definitely one of the best places to eat on the Seminyak street but not by any stretch of imagination a great place if compared to any big city.
Hop a bit further and head to the W. The food there will definitely put this hype of Merah Putih to end.
Sad that i saved this 'best' for last on my Bali trip. Will probably grab myself a gelato on the way to the villa to brighten the spirit on this last evening in Bali.
Food was a bit pricey and it's not typical Indonesian food. I would call it Indonesian fusion food served in a cool location. Worth a try.

Highly recommend in BALI! MUST TRY! If possible try their course meal at Merah Putih, you can look at the photo below which consist of the menu that was served for the full course meal at an affordable price compared to other fine dining restaurants. This meal cost me less than 50USD/per pax, can you believe it?
Remember to pre-book your table, and they will request a deposit for your booking. Restaurant will only hold the table for 15mins, if you’re late, your deposit will be forfeited!
OMG, one of the most delicious food I have ever had. We ordered the tune, crspy duck, ink noodles and glesed lamb and all were very delicious. I do recommend it if you want try indonstion food.
We ordered the duck appetizer, the tuna, inkeg noodles and the lamb. Every dish was better then the one before. Can't recommend this restaurant enough.
Haute Indonesian cuisine. We make sure we stop by everyone we are in Bali, the environment is out of this world, so are most of the dishes with fresh local ingredients. Really lovely amuse bouche, chicken soup (Soto ayam), keeps us coming back every time.
