Enal is one of the best surf instructors ive had. He taught me a lot on the proper techniques of turning the board, and safety tips as well, especially important for reef breaks in medewi. A very patient surf coach, and appreciate his detailed video analysis in spotting my mistakes. Also recommended to wear booties when surfing here!

Enal was my boyfriend's surf instructor for the week, but I feel I should write my own review because we were so impressed with his service!
We have had lots of surf lessons since being in Indonesia, but Enal is by far the best instructor we have used yet! He is really down to earth, patient, attentive and caring. Him and Ivan (my instructor) genuinely cared about our progress in surfing and spent a lot of their time getting to know us personally, as well as helping us on the boards. It is clear that he is a genuine guy who is passionate about surfing, so he was really easy to trust when out on the waves. We met him in Medewi at the start of our trip and liked him so much, we asked him to come to Canggu to carry on teaching us there! Which he did, at no extra cost.
I would 100% recommend using Enal if you want a teacher who is genuine and caring.

Enal was a great coach, very patient and passionate, he helped me progress from foamie to hard board quickly enabling me to catch so many waves. He was a fun character to surf with too, very knowledgable of the conditions and offered clear advice, felt really safe in his hands.
