Mara River Safari Lodge.

Bali Safari Park and Resort is like stepping into a wildlife wonderland! The animals are a real highlight – you get to get really close and personal with them during the safari journey. The guides are super informative, making the whole experience not just fun but educational too. My only suggestion would be to add more shady spots for visitors, especially when it's scorching hot. The resort itself is top-notch, with comfy accommodations and great dining options. It's a must-visit for anyone who loves nature and animals!

Everything was amazing! Excellent service, beautiful rooms with everything you need and more. Great breakfasts and overall a great restaurant. We were absolutely delighted. Nothing to complain about. An entertainment program is organized for guests in the evening, and a visit to the safari park is included in the price. The panoramic pool is absolutely a fairy tale! My favorite thing was feeding the giraffe, it was my dream!

Other than dirty air con filters and a hard bed, everything else in the room was spot on. Loved the water pressure in the shower especially. The view from the room is one I could wake up to every day. So magical! The restaurant food was not as good as it has been on previous stays here and not much in western food on offer. The park experience was enjoyable as was the night Safari, that’s always the highlight of our stays here. The staff are also very pleasant. The animal experience was good however the over experience was underwhelming. Accommodations were average we had connecting rooms but couldn’t use the second bathroom because it smells so bad, aircon was not working well and the room felt dirty. The buffet dinner was just awful wish we could get our money back. Waterpark is in need or major repairs and you had to pay for most of the rides. Not everything was included in the park entry which made for an expensive stay. We paid as much for this accommodation for two nights as we did for a 9 stay in a 5 star resort in Patong. This is not value for money.

All was good. Food was average. Service was very good.
Our shower drain didn’t work at all and flooded or room whenever we took a shower.

Mara river safari park is far from a lot of dining options and shopping which generally means you either need to eat at their restaurant or book a car to go to ubud or Sanur. Unlike the advertising the animals are not, necessarily, outside the window or balcony. From our room we could see the pool however we had to walk down to the pool to see the animals which were across in the paddock area. You can’t directly feed any animals (unless you pay) and instead need to throw the carrots over the field. The experience was still lovely though.
Keep in mind most things are extra (like animal feeding, photos etc). The staff are amazing.

Subali and every other friendly staff will provide you exceptional hospitality. The lodge gives very authentic experience. Woke up to the bird sounds and zebra wondering outside your windows, lions roaring next to the table. Food is not bad considering the hotel is far from main tourist areas. Very happy of the stay in all.

Upon arrival we had carrots waiting in our room to feed the animals (which I thought was a nice touch). Our room overlooked all the safari animals roaming around. Great experience! Fantastic for kids, the breakfast in the morning was delicious and the lions are very vocal! We sat near the meerkats and they were super active in the morning. Loved the stay and loved the zoo! The safari tour bus was informative and had many animals to view! Definitely recommend coming here if you’re in the area!
Room was beautifully decorated, I would say the bed is a bit hard and the bathrooms being partially enclosed was a bit getting used too as it was VERY hot and muggy but all in all worth the experience.
All the staff were extremely polite, happy and welcoming! Fantastic hospitality service.

Had an amazing time celebrating my child's 3rd birthday with them. Staff were super friendly and accomodating. Amazing experience for kids.

Rooms was very nice. Food was good in tso lion restaurant. This resort is located at outskirts of city. As a foreign tourist there is no currency exchange center near by.

Good experience closer with so many animal, get inspired with the arrangement feeding animal session at night safari session, and thank you for the surprise decoration for our room! Tq friendly staff and friendly buggy car service! Tq all team u guys are doing great job!

Very accommodating in terms of room and stay. Just a little difficulty in finding vegetarian options but got to order them separately.

Good place for family and experience nature as well as getting close to various animal eg zebra, elephants, rhino, lions, tigers, giraffe, crocodiles and many more by riding the safari bus. Also the waterpark is fun.

We stayed here for a night. The rooms are clean, spacious and well decorated. We overlooked the animals in the middle and woke up to the sounds of chickens which was really nice. If you’re a light sleeper probably not for you as there is noise all night from the animals but that can’t be helped. The park itself was good nothing too special. The shows were really good and they had a good way of delivering their messages (look after animals) the restaurant was nice for dinner and breakfast our waiter was ‘suwitri’ and she was absolutely amazing she made us so comfortable. She was so attentive, helpful you could really see that she understood her job we can’t thank her enough! Only downfall to this is they had a giraffe in the middle for a view from the hotel and it was clear he/she didn’t want to be there as they just stood by the gate the whole time and no one took any notice. Overall good experience and would only need to stay here for one night

We only had one night here. Recomend the romance package which included a great 3 course dinner with wine at the african themed restaurant and buffet breakfast there as well. (rose petals on the bed etc) Staff made you feel special and were very attentive and friendly. The room was lovley with a balcony overlooking grazing safari animals and there is a very relaxing infinity pool overlooking same animals. Safari park shows and tour also included. I enjoyed getting there at midday and breaking up the safari park activities over that afternoon and the next morning. All very doable in 24hrs (finished with a dip in the pool) and came away super relaxed. Our driver was $30 each way from Tuban
