Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve

I don't usually write reviews, but after my stay at this property I feel compelled to. I redeemed one of my Marriott Free Night certificates and was certainly not expecting much. Boy, was I to be surprised. The entire experience was thoroughly enjoyable from check-in to check-out and I felt like an extremely valued guest. I can see why the Ritz Carlton Reserve properties and this one in particular continue to be held in extremely high regard. I will definitely try to come back with family. Special mention to front office manager Ade and my Patih (butler) Dheya. For those whose names I did not manage to remember, I thank you from the bottom of my heart too. I understand cash prices are on the high side, but for those who can afford it, I would say you get what you pay for.

PS: Food at Kubu was delicious too. Kiwami Wagyu reminded me of actual Kobe Beef!

Incredible hospitality, warmth and experience.

From the arrival to the departure. From sunrise to dawn, the energy of the entire Mandapa family can be felt and they are all very authentic and extremely passionate on spoiling their guests.

Shot-out to our butler, Riadi, for the amazing hospitality. It is very rare to find a butler that makes you feel like home while going above and beyond to ensure you have an unforgettable experience. He made our stay more enjoyable and memorable. Our favorite butler to date!

The entire resort was fantastic. Strongly recommend the river front villa, yes it’s pricey compare to other hotels in Bali, but it’s truly an unique once in a life time experience over the room or suite.

This is truly the best hotel I’ve ever been to. The views of Ubud are gorgeous and so is the property. What stood out to me, though, was the exceptional service. You get your own private butler on call to you via Whatsapp and they take such good care of you. The hotel has an exclusive feel since the property is so huge but there are few rooms. The dining was excellent—the Japanese place had the best sushi and the breakfast buffet was amazing and accommodating to us vegetarians. The morning yoga was so beautiful and the whole mindset/lifestyle is perfect. Highly recommend this beautiful, serene getaway!

The Mandapa, a Ritz-CarltonReserve, is attentively placed for guests to experience the tranquility and beauty of Bali's Ayung River, its rolling hills, and rice paddies shrouded by lush jungles. The entire staff from the front office, the butler, the restaurants, the grounds, and the spa were always warm and welcoming and made every moment of our stay a cherished memory. Marka, our butler, was always available to us; his caring heart, meticulous planning, and wealth of knowledge enabled us to experience all that Mandapa has to offer in a meaningful and enjoyable way.

The hotel quite pricey, but what we get is worth what we spent. We know it’s a solid hotel when before we even left we are planning our next one. Be prepared to be spoilt beyond words. Service is top notch food is amazing room is great. You won’t feel shortchanged paying the rates and we are thinking of making this a yearly stay at least
