Mahagiri Panoramic Resort & Restaurant

Our guide took us there for the buffet formula and the panorama. The latter is really pretty and it's nice to come and have a drink there for the view.
The buffet is good but not extraordinary.
Prices higher than in less touristy restaurants.
With tax and service we paid almost 600 kr for 3

The place has spectacular views but the food was dry and hard. For a buffet it had very little variety, we would not return. Very high price for the food offered.

Taxi drivers are happy to take you here because (I think) they get compensation/free meal. The view is incredibly beautiful but the food was even worse than the average “all you can eat” in the Netherlands. At a Warung you pay 30k and you get really tasty food. Here you pay 150k and then you get crappy food.

The location is beautiful, ……… but the food is terrible you have to pay 135k for a buffet.

But there is not much choice and the food they have is either cold or tasteless.

So my advice walk in look at the amazing view, and go back the way you came.

We went here for the buffet. We walked to the buffet and asked the employee about the price. He said it's 125k. The food was okay. Not bad but also nothing special. When we wanted to pay the bill was 151.250 RP each and after complaining about that the cashier just took a menu and pointed to the "+21% service fee and tax". Since they did not show us the menu in advance nor did tell us about these horrendous fees we felt like being scammed. Would not recommend this restaurant if you don't want to get ripped off.

Nice view and very friendly people. Food quality below average compared to Ubud with prices being fairly high. I do not recommend the buffet.

Jangan kaget bila menemukan Bangunan dan perabot sd tdk seperti di foto2 di applikasi pemesaan kamar. Harga kamar tidak incld makan pagi, ada tambahan 75k/pax utk makan pagi.

Yg hbs mengunjungi besakih wajib ke sini, view dpn kmr jg ok, sarapan ok, air hangat ok, bs bkn kopi d kmr, cm sayang gak ada sikat gigi. Tp overall ok terutama mujaer nyat² nya

4* for staff.
4* for facility. (No aircon)
1* for food.

Pros: Baliness feeling. Amazing view of rice terrace.

Owner was able to cater for our vegetarian request but still cheese pizza was uncooked.
We asked to cook it again, this time it was okayish.

Most probably local driver would take you there. I believe they get some commission.
I would not recommend to go here for food.
Just order some drink or coffee and enjoy the view.

Pricing:
There was buffet ridiculously overpriced 125,000 IDR + 21% taxes so total 151,500 IDR per person (rip off tourist). I highly doubt a local would pay this price. They tried to add bill of drivers buffet, but I refused. Sorry but I am already paying driver 550K IDR for day trip. Can't pay ridiculously overpriced buffet of 151,500. So be firm and say no. Local people get food at very cheap price.

Stunning view! Sounds of cicadas! Friendly staff, clean room, comfort. I lived in a room with a bathroom, I chose it on purpose. But there was almost no hot water, it ran out. And the bath was leaking, the water was on the floor. It was a shame. But the place is very good

Pemandangan the best, apalagi kalau menjelang sore gununggnyaaa terlihat cantik sekali, makanannyaa enak-enak semua, pegawainya welcome” dan baik

Makanannya lezat dengan porsi yang generous dengan pemandangan yang menyegarkan mata serta pelayanannya sangat memuaskan, will definetly come again kalau ada kesempatan

Delicious food, friendly staff. Together with a magnificent view and a lovely garden experience.

Rasa masakannya ok, pelayanan ok, harga agak sdkt mahal tapi terbayar dgn view indah. Begitu masuk lgs disambut & protokol kesehatan cukup baik. Dicek suhu, semua staf yg melayani memakai masker. Sayangnya dibagian dapur maupun area kopi banyak staf yg turunin masker. Sayang sekali, harusnya disiplin bahkan di bagian dapur yg tidak terlihat langsung pun harusnya tetap memakai, maka akan sempurna penilaiannya.

Tempat santai (cafe) yg sangat nyaman, tenang dan bersih, lokasi cukup jauh dr kota di lereng Gunung Agung dgn pemandangan sawah dan Gunung yg luar biasa bagus dan eksotik, pelayanan cukup ramah, cepat dan komunikatif, varian makanan dan minuman tersaji cukup banyak, rasa makanan dan minuman OK, harga pandemi ckp murah, parkiran luas sekali, Prokes dijalankan dgn baik, toilet bersih tdk pengap, ada resort yg bisa disewa ckp murah.
