Magatama Sebatu Resort

Very nice establishment. The staff is wonderful, very attentive and dedicated. He was kind enough to lend us ceremonial outfits to attend the village temple festival.
The accommodations are spacious, comfortable, quiet.very cozy, with a superb view of the jungle. There is always a small private garden. The place is very relaxing.
Unfortunately, the collective swimming pool and the restaurant were closed during our stay. There is a big difference in altitude to access accommodation which is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.

We loved our stay in this unique place. If you're looking for the peace you should definitely stay here.
Stuff were very friendly, nice breakfast and they also have menu for lunch and dinner.

The villa is unbelievable, pretty all natural

made with wood and stone.

The bathtub is a rock! The room is 50sqm and we love it.

We have a private pool also with a garden, a

swing, 2 sunbeds.

The place is more than amazing.
For the full private rooms in the middle of the jungle.
The room prices is cheaper than the center of Ubud because it’s a bit far.
But the nature experience is worth it.
Truly if you are considering a private room with a private pool looking over a natural view there is no doubt this is the best place.
The resort it self is clean and the stuff is more than friendly and helpful.
Outside there will be a-lot of mosquitos and insects you should know all Ubud is like that.
The place is a bit hard to reach but the location itself is right so follow the gps and you will be fine.
The room style is themed of old village furniture which is very nice.
The room had AC and hot water too.
The bathroom was very nice as is feels so natural, the floor itself was small smooth stones which is fine by slippers and we could open the pool window from the bathroom as if the bathroom was fully open to nature (very private)
Really really recommend specially honeymooner.
The room had a a private blue hammock net overlocking the jungle which is very nice to use.

Just amazingly beautiful resort. What a great hospitality. We are just amazed. I highly recommend this place. Its the best stay of our entrie bali trip.

Villa etnik dengan bangunan kayu-kayu sangat bagus dan luas, ornamen/ aksesoris villa sangat lengkap. Private pool yang luas dengan pemandangan lembah dan sawah terbaik. Staff ramah dan banyak pilihan menu makanan yang tergolong enak. Saya terbiasa tidur pakai AC tapi kali ini secara tidak sadar ternyata AC kami tidak menyala, namun sangat sejuk seperti memakai AC.
Nuansa kamar remang, dan pemandangan sangat baik. Highly recommended!

This place is just breath taking. I highly recommend for an escape and to relax, its in the middle of jungle and the service and staff are very good

Staffs were friendly and helpful. The room was really nice and clean, breathtaking views, great bathtub, nice little pool, nice hammock, nice food, good massage. Great ambience, really calm and peaceful. Although access is quite difficult, but the experience was more than worth it

Magatama Villa made our stay in Bali simply wonderful.
The villa faces a terraced rice paddy field with stunning nature views. The sunrise I saw from there was particularly mystical and beautiful. The pool in front of the villa is large, clean and nice. The natural sauna on the premises is deeply relaxing. We liked it so much we used it twice. We attended a cooking class and had a special experience making traditional Balinese chicken satay. All staff are extremely polite, kind and helpful.
We stayed in Bali for 20 days and stayed in 8 different hotels. Of these, our experience at Magatama Villa was the best. We would definitely visit again.

Best part of our trip! The peace and tranquility of the resort and it's surroundings are unmatched. The views are stunning. The rooms are beautifully simple. The view from your room & bathtub will have you in awe!
Excellent pricing throughout, be it the food or accommodation! Cannot wait to visit again!
