Mades Banana Flour Bakery ulasan
65 I recently visited the bakery with high expectations, given its reputation for tasty treats. While the overall experience had some positive aspects, I encountered a significant issue that needs addressing.
On my last visit, I discovered mold at the bottom of my cake – a rather unpleasant surprise that I only noticed after taking a bite. This unfortunate incident highlights the importance of ensuring the freshness of their products. It's crucial for the bakery to implement rigorous checks to prevent such occurrences.
Another notable concern is the slow service. Waiting times for items like smoothie bowls and tea were excessively long, reaching half an hour and an hour, respectively. Despite calmly inquiring about the delay, I received a rather dismissive response from the kitchen employee, which did not contribute positively to the situation. This lack of acknowledgment or apology for the delays is an area that the bakery should address to enhance customer satisfaction.
Inconsistency in food preparation and order fulfilment was evident during my visit. Some customers received their meals almost cold after a 50-minute wait, while others experienced forgotten portions of their orders. This lack of attention to detail and consistency impacted the overall dining experience.
Communication issues with the staff were also apparent, indicating room for improvement in customer service. The dismissive response from the kitchen employee exemplified a lack of professionalism and empathy toward customers.
The overall quality of service left much to be desired, with the general sentiment being dissatisfaction. Several customers, including myself, found the food to be both subpar and overpriced. This disconnect between cost and perceived value needs addressing for the bakery to meet customer expectations.
In summary, my visit to the bakery was marred by issues of freshness, slow service, inconsistencies in food preparation, and communication problems. These aspects should be a priority for the bakery to ensure a more positive and satisfactory experience for its customers.
I really wanted to love this place! The cakes in the display looked all VERY old and dried out. She kept on telling us why it’s dried out. Well, we still got one piece and hoped that the cakes were only sitting in there for display purposes… but no! She grabbed that one from the glass counter. I asked to get a fresh one but she couldn’t help me with that desire. At home, opening the box and putting the cake on the plate, it was obvious. Not good, not again!
Disgusting experience.the food is not fresh and weathered, the staff touches the food with dirty hands.the toilet was not clean. I do not recommend
Great spot for anyone who has any gluten or dairy intolerance or allergy. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. Recommended!
Tiny place offering gluten free bread, pastries and coffee. We bought two croissants and a banana bread and they were really good.
I only went there for coffee (three times because I really liked the staff) but the cakes and everything else looked really good! Not too sure if they offer vegan cakes but saw vegan cookies.
Took half an hour for our smoothie bowls, and an hour for tea. Earlier I asked calmly how long it will take, instead of say sorry, the employee in the kitchen said, "crowded bro". I came here several times as a loyal customer, but I think twice now.
Shop oredi Closed Down!
The after shock of Covid19 pandemic.many can't sustain their business due to dwindling capital & cash flow!
RIP The World's 1st Banana Flour!
Amazing place to get gluten-free pastries. The best gluten-free croissants I have ever eaten so far! …and I tried many all around the world Chapeau!
Such a cute place! Everything is gluten free. I am so happy with my food. I got a donut and the carrot cake. The staff were also very kind. Highly recommend.
A traveling celiacs dream. The gluten free bread lasted just over 2 weeks in my fridge while I traveled. Loved the croissants. Was so nice to stock up and get lots delivered to me when I was farther south.
A gluten free heaven on earth? The bakery has everthink your heart could Desire from glutenfree pancakes for breakfast to fancy cakes. We had the pleasure to meet Mr. Made himself and he is just as nice as his food:) can highly recommend
Absolutely fantastic place! Thrilled to have found it:) great energy from the staff and owner Michel. The place is vegan/ gluten free friendly. They make amazing crossiant and more…. Everything made out banana floor. I also did the baking class 12-2pm in Thursday! Throughly enjoyed it and the goodies I made! Made the baker is lovely:) 10/10 100 recommended!
The croissants are not allowed to be called croissants, wet, thick and not ready inside.
Nice business idea, almost everything is made from banana's from their own plantage.
No place to sit inside, small terrace outside, bug this is directly on the busy road. Not relaxed. Lastly: pretty expensive for what you get.
Ordered pain au chocolate and croissant, both are too thick, chewy, heavy. Tastes just like oily bread that has been made 3 days ago. No crunchiness at all.can't eat them after couple bites. Wasted 100k? Wish mr.made try croissant and pain au chocolate in other bakeries and get to know how they should be!
So happy I found this place as i am coeliac, food is amazing the bread is amazing, I bought loads of cakes and bread after months in bali struggling to find gluten free. I finally have my place THANK YOU!
Got a last minute cake birthday cake from Mades. I wanted a vegetarian cake, but wasn’t sure how the banana flour would hold up. Turns out all my worries were in vain. Mades had a wonderful cake which we scarfed down as soon as we finished cutting the cake. And Arby was wonderful on What’s App helping organize the whole thing.
This is a coeliac and gluten intolerant persons’ dream cafe. Everything is gluten free and delicious. Highly recommended.
Friendly staff, owner is very helpful. Fast service. Quality of food is great. Excellent range of cakes, brownies, pancakes, breakfast all make from Banana Flour. High end Bakery!
A bit of a long trip if you're not in canggu, but the staff are great, very helpful and friendly. There's not a huge number of places that sell gluten-free bread etc & these guys do a few so I took a trip to look at the range. My favorites are the multi-grain and sourdough, they both benefit from being cut thin (in my opinion), toast crispy, not too heavy & taste pretty good. Prices vary but not far from IDR 50k per loaf & they do some gluten-free pies and pastries as well. So it's great value too. They'll also deliver on a next-day basis, which is very useful.
