I emailed this agency a month before I would get my visa on arrival. They provided a date-frame in which I could extend my visa and asked for where I was staying. I didn’t know that yet. When I texted them that I wanted to use their service the next day (4 days before the end-date they provided) they suddenly told me I couldn’t as immigration would be closed for end of Ramadan. When I complained on all the trouble their wrong date-frame gave me they blamed that I hadn’t emailed back with the place I’d stay at. Especially from a legal firm this argument baffles me. This agency has brought me nothing but misinformation and trouble with immigration and takes zero responsibility for their useless service and advice.

My reply:

immigration said I should have known they where closed and blamed me for not knowing their national holidays. As such I would expect an agency to know, at the least there could have been a remark as this being a time-period to watch out for end of Ramadan. At the time I found out I was in no place to make it to immigration which handled visa’s in time. Instead of an apology for the wrong information given the conversation went about how I was to blame and how suddenly ‘obviously’ all government and private companies will he closed during Idul Fitri.

I made 5.000.000 rupiah extra cost. I was only contacted with an apology after I had reviewed. So the immediate question afterwards for me to simple remove a review which lays out the situation for others to not make a similar mistake did not feel understanding at all.

Immigration has called me incompetent for not knowing their national holidays and given me much extra cost, so I feel safe to assume a company should know to take the period of end of Ramadan into account in their lay-out of when I should use their service.

I am glad you wrote down your side and people can decide for themselves how they wish to proceed in their visa business.

I will remain my review as I feel no faith in how the situation was handelde, you seem to have magically found some 5-star reviews in the past weeks anyways.
