Best hair salon in Bali. The hairdressers are professional and always give good advice, even for unruly and weakened hair.
I do my nails there regularly, always impeccable and clean. The living room is superb!

Correct manicure but applying varnish is a disaster. The person who took care of me tried it several times, the varnish was cakey, it was sticking out on my skin. It must be said that she was very poorly set up: no table to work on, she just placed a cushion on my knees to rest my hands on. Result: when she moved on to a new nail, she damaged the manicure of the one she had just done. After an hour and a half for a manicure and a classic nail polish application I gave up and waited until I left the salon to go get some nail polish remover and remove everything.
Meanwhile, the owner's friend, a French woman, was smoking her cigarette in front of the establishment. She didn't even offer me a discount on this disastrous service. In short, by very professional or commercial all that

Chanced upon this quaint salon and the experience turns out to be amazing! Love the spa manicure (gel colour) which is at an affordable price too!

Avoid for massage or nails.
Booked during vacation for a pedicure and a manicure (no polish) was told because I am a female I had to pay for a full manicure vs the “sports manicure” I booked which apparently is for males only.

The pedicure I did polish and waited extra time before leaving but it completely smudged within 4 hours after not drying.

The massage I booked was in a chair (not private) when they asked me to wear a towel only I said no thanks and cancelled massage.

Amazing salon - great stylist who felt what I wished for and did a wonderful job, great head massage and beautiful interior. I recommend this salon 100%.

I am delighted with my visit to the Atelier! I came for a balayage and a pedicure/manicure, I am super happy with the result. Super professional service which was able to respond exactly to my request. I highly recommend if you are looking for a salon in Sanur

I had a really wonderful experience at this beautiful salon! Aside from being an incredibly lovely and warm person, Charlotte is talented, patient and so meticulous. I’ve really never experienced such care and precision from any hairdresser. It felt like every single hair on my head was considered and despite not being great at communicating what I wanted, Charlotte seemed to know exactly what needed to be done and exactly how to work with my curls and their texture. She did the first stage of my cut on dry hair, so she could work with the curl pattern and used a colouring technique that would cause minimal damage, which I really appreciated. The environment was relaxing and the other members of staff were also lovely. (Perhaps one of the best head massages I’ve had during my hair wash!) In the lead up to my visit I spent so long looking for somewhere I felt I could trust to cut and colour my curly hair, which is not easy in Bali. I also wanted to go somewhere that used non-toxic products. Based on L’atelier’s great reviews, the use of Davines products and the beautiful photos of happy customers, I decided to travel from Ubud to have a hair cut with Charlotte. I am so glad I made this decision! I hadn’t had a haircut or colour in around 8 months and due to travel plans, it will be many more months before I can have another one. Before my visit I was feeling frustrated and TBH a bit insecure about my hair. I now feel like myself again and love how my hair looks and feels. The only challenge will be trying to find somewhere as good once I leave Bali. Thank you!

We came here on a Tuesday afternoon so it wasn't that busy but they said appointment is highly recommended especially if you want to color and cut your hair. Fortunately for us, we were greeted the moment we came in although we didn't have any appointment. My wife only had a blowdry service and she seems to be very satisfied with the result. The price is definitely acceptable and we really like the atmosphere inside. They also offered some complimentary drinks so it was really great. However, parking could be a bit tricky since there's only street parking.

Ich was lucky to receive a spontaneous appointment during my holidays and could not be happier. Charlotte did an amazing job on my blonde hair (colour & haircut). The whole team was also very kind and I felt super comfortable. Definitely recommend L‘Atelier Sanur!
