A nice quiet restaurant in the city center near to the monkey forest.
Nice staff great hospitality, reasonable prices, delicious food, clean restroom.
First we onli got in for a cup of coffee, but after the first visit we went back for diner.
Keep on going like this.

The atmosphere is good and the food is generally delicious. A bit expensive compared to other nearby restaurants.

Four years ago we had a couple really good meals at Lamak and enjoyed the ambiance. This trip it was deserted every time we walked past. We finally went in for a drink. Great cocktails and they comp'd us some tasty hors d'oeuvres, but we were the only guests during prime dinner time and we bailed on dinner.

I had dinner at Lamak a couple of nights ago, my friend suggested this place, I was a bit skeptical because it is listed as British restaurant in google, but I just followed my friend suggestion.
The place is super nice, the service was amazing and the food was delicious. It is sad that it wasn’t full because this place is marvelous and the dishes are carefully served. If you are in Ubud, you should try this place.

P. S: recommendation for the owners, I would suggest you to change the type of restaurant from “British” to “Western food” as your menu is a mix of different cuisines.

The service was beyond great. They made sure we were taken care of the whole night, providing us complimentary tea and snacks as well. Recommend their chocolate souffle!

Best restaurant in Bali. My husband surprised me with a dinner at Lamak for our wedding anniversary. We were both very happy with the experience. The ambiance is cosy and romantic, the service is excellent especially from Lastini. The food is to die for. Every dish we tried was outstanding from the tuna tartare and pomelo crab to the gnocchi and the lamb dish which was according to my hubby the best he's ever tasted. We even doubled some orders because they were amazing. Desserts and cocktails are super tasty too from the sangria welcome drink and martinis to the pandan leaf crème brûlée. Prices are reasonable. We highly recommend Lamak if you're visiting Bali. Thank you to the Lamak team for the thoughtful touch: champagne & wedding anniversary cake and for making our night a special one.
