La Royale Villas n Restaurant

I would NOT recommend this place. The staff/manager was rude, the room was not good, the swing outside was dirty. The washroom was dirty, probably the worst place I stayed in Bali. Further, there's no manager at night on site, no services or help was available.

It's about 25 min from the harbor. The website said they have a shuttle, but there is no shuttle.

Update: you can also smell the washroom in the smaller rooms.

Excellent stay, one of the best in Nusa Penida, clean, things are in very good condition. Quality-price ratio 10/10.

Good enough for the half million rupiya we paid for staying. A really cute property, rooms were a but smaller, but all the amenities were well provided. In the evening time, staff goes away, so make sure you get all what you need before.good restaurants, spa, laundry, etc in 2 mins of walk.

Good location near the femous sunset crystalbay. 15 muniet from banjarnyuh harbour. Cozy and recomand to stay at nusa penida

Beautiful place at Nusa Penida. The staff also very friendly and helpful. To go to this place you need to gi by boat or fast boat and then drive or ride motor bike around 15 minutes from the harbor. Highly recommended place to stay. I am very like the concept of the building.

Stayed for two nights in the treehouse and absolutely loved it, such a relaxing place! Staff were friendly and kept us well stocked up with Bintangs and also helped us out with transfers and organising tours of the island! There wasn’t a restaurant at the moment but can eat next door or we had a transfer organised to Amok sunset about 10 minutes as way that was really good! Highly recommend staying here!

After booking months in advance and waiting half an hour for the receptionist to show up, they FORGOT our pre payed booking and requested we stay in a DISGUSTING hotel near by.would NEVER suggest this place!

Not recommended.
Its OK for 1 or 2 nights. But not for a realxing vacation for a familie with a baby or child when you also wanna spent time on the daytime there.

Pro:
*The staff where great, even if their English wasn't good.
*The place looks nice (so people with their cameras will get their beautiful photos).

Con:
*Its on the main road to Crystal Bay Beach. So it can be loud and busy when the day visitors come.
*As soon as the many day visitors come to the restaurant, it no longer feels like a vacation, but as if you were an attraction yourself. Then there is no relaxation.
*There is nothing close by you can escape. Its boring.
*The rooms are quite small. Its OK for one or two nights but not for a week.
*There was no manager at the time we stayed there.
*WLAN only rarely worked
*We agree that we will get some of the money back for the days canceled. We never received the money.

We were very unhappy and decided to move to Crystal Bay for the remaining days. That was the best decision. There we had a very nice and quiet place to stay. Nestled in an area full of locals and many other accommodations.

If you are willing to get lost in coconut trees and be fully connected with nature - La Royale Villas is the best place to do so.

Very aesthetically pleasing interior of the bungalows. The room is equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay - soap, shampoo, towels, hairdryer. Together with the specious terras these bungalows have absolutely everything you need for a great stay.

Additional complements to the welcoming and very friendly staff.

Overall, I was very happy with this stay and I would absolutely recommend it to anybody coming to Nusa Penida.

The tropical bamboo treehouse is a real oasis, a beautiful setting in a private area of the compound. The outdoor bathroom was our favourite area & the secret movie room upstairs was an awesome touch. A great & unique place to stay on Nusa Penida if you’re after something a little bit different

Lovely place, and also quite clean. They serve a good mie goreng, and I love it. But They didnt give mineral water in the room.

Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The pool feels like a private pool when there is no other guests. Bli Wayan as host very accomodating, including provide transport pick up from/to harbour. There are 2 bottles of water inside the room, but the breakfast had not served (maybe it costs much to cook for 2 people).

Just amazing. The bamboo villa is beautiful. Waking up with the sound of birds, roosters and cows. I love it.
