La Baracca Uluwatu

They were so unfriendly at the door.
I wouldn’t recommend to go there If you search for a friendly nice vibe. Music was ok but so unnecessary how there were at the door.

Solo diner, walked in slightly before 6pm, right before the dinner crowd. It was really hot tbh.

Food was ok, I didn’t think I got anything phenomenal. Friday was an oyster day. The oysters tasted fresh but probably not exactly pump. I got the fried pizza. It was nice but average. The complimentary bread was lovely. I got a complimentary coconut shot as well since I ordered a cocktail.

It will be better if it’s not too hot.

I really love it! Everything was amaizing! The cheese gnocchi got me! One of the best restaurants in Uluwatu so far!

Not the first time, been visiting here since there was aglio olio ginger in the menu.
This visit disappointed me because of the service. The way the server serves the drink by throwing the coaster at the table is really amazing.
I hope they could be well trained.

The food quality is still the same, always great.

This place has my favorite salad and panini on the whole island! “Pollo e nochi” is simply the best salad, it’s so delicious yet healthy.
They also have a lunch deal everyday till 4pm when you can get any salad or panini for 65k, and from 4 till 6pm Aperoll Spritz’s only 99k.
If you’re planning to come here for dinner, I would recommend booking a table in advance.

Noa loved the Margherita pizza, it was delicious, apart from courtesy they brought us some toast with pasta, those details are appreciated!

One of the best picks in Bali so far. Great Italian dishes with a twist. The tuna tartar with avocado and mango was nicely balanced. The pizza biancha with guanciale was simply greaz. Don’t underestimate the size of the pizza. The drinks are great too. Would definitely come here again.

Great service like most places in Bali. I’m allergic to gluten and dairy and I have plenty of options eating here.
No charge to swap for gluten free bread or vegan (dairy free) cheese.
They bring out warm bread complimentary before your meal arrives, and gave me gluten free bread with balsamic and olive oil to dip.
When we went here for dinner, they also gave us complimentary limoncello shots at the end of our meal.
Gluten free pizza crust is a little bland and cracker like (as most gf crust is), but the bread had a great texture and flavor.
We’ve already been here several times and it’s always a great experience!

An incredible place - 10/10 & a rare restaurant that can truly claim to cook real, authentic, delicious Italian food.

We have been here 7x nights in a row and will be back again & again. The pizza and pesto are a must.

After 6 yrs in Bali I witnessed my first Karen-

To start, our dinner at La Baracca was fantastic! The staff was amazing, attentive, and friendly and our food was wonderful as usual.

I want to seriously commend the manager, Julia, and all the staff working tonight when we were dining.

Here’s what happened- and I know this because the woman (Sheena) proceeded to shout so loud that the entire garden of probably 40 people heard what was going on. Apparently she had booked a party of 16 one month ago- they had her table with plenty of space prepared inside when they arrived. She was not happy with this and wanted it in the garden. Now- it’s rainy season and earlier tonight it was raining, so clearly they did this to ensure a better experience.

I have never in my life witnessed someone behaving like Sheena did in a restaurant. She immediately started demanding free drinks while, again, shouting so loudly that every eye in the restaurant was on her every time she stood up (which was a lot because she didn’t stop complaining for the 2 hours we were there). It got to the point that she made an entire party of 10, who were already eating, get up and move so she could have what she wanted. Several of Sheena’s friends were coming to our table and apologizing on her behalf and telling us they were mortified. The way this woman treated the staff of La Baracca was despicable.

I write all this to say- the staff handled it with absolute class, granted her wishes as quickly as humanly possible with a full garden, and gave her the free drinks she wanted. If a negative review comes from this experience please do not pay it any mind. Stellar crew working there and can’t wait to return.

The best (Italian) food on the island. This place is a true gem. Can’t stop going here. The pizza’s and pasta’s are next level and the place is so cosy and beautiful.

Karyawan kurang profesional, sy ojol dibuat nunggu lama, padahal resto bisa konfirm ketamunya soal tambahan extranya, masih menunggy saya yg waktu itu saya dapat orderan sangat jauh dari lokasi, waktu terbuang sia2 jadinya

Definitely this place will go to my favorite list. Food were incredible. Will come back with our friends and families.

La Baracca

I recently had the pleasure of dining at La Baracca and I am thrilled to say that it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the local Balinese staff were a true delight.

To start, we were treated to some delicious bruschetta that was bursting with flavor. The burrata was equally impressive, with a creamy texture and a rich, savory taste. But the highlight of the meal for me was the pepperoni pizza. It was cooked to perfection, with a crispy crust and a generous helping of spicy pepperoni.

Overall, I cannot recommend La Baracca enough. The food was top-notch and the staff were a joy to be around. If you're in the area, be sure to pay this wonderful restaurant a visit. You won't be disappointed!

This is a place for good Italian food, but I am most impressed by the service. My significant other can't take alliums and we had a patient server, Saras, who checked with the chef very throughoutly which items can be customized to be allium free. Unfortunately, most sauces and pasta has onion and/or garlic. On hindsight, I should have gotten the aglio olio or the normal non vegan but vegetarian pizzas as the vegan cheese has onion powder in them. Five stars for attentiveness and being so patient with us thank you chef ‍ and Saras!

Lovely restaurant.tasty pizzas and pasta dishes. Great atmosphere. The Italian wines are fab, in particular, the primitivo. They also give free shots of limoncello at the end of your meal!

The pizzas are very good but the 3 stars are because we had to wait around 45 minutes for 2 pizzas, and the restaurant wasn't even packed.
To be fair the waitress and waiter were lovely, it's just the extra waiting time that lowers the rating.

Maybe the best Italian restaurant on the island. They make us cry after one month of naso goreng. Big big up!

As amazing as the food is (and it realster is) the owner does not deserve a single cent, they seem nice and caring but they are really not regarding anything outside the restaurant where they can basically earn money.

We have been twice and tried several dishes and appetizers were really good, we ate mozzarella and bruschetta.

Mains were average
- Seafood soup was dull
- Seafood pasta was over salted and over cooked for my taste.
- Tuna tartar -
- Tuna salad- okay.

Service does not correspond with the price tag. Dirty dishes stays on the table very long, host is not friendly
