Hidden gem in Ubud. The food is to die for! The empanadas were immaculate and everything on the menu was just spot on. Staff were very courteous and guided through the menu also met the chef who was such a lovely person. Also do get the dessert options! If you are in Ubud check out this fine dining but very affordable experience ️

My best food experience all over the island.

We had a dinner here with 2 dishes, desserts and bottle of vine. And all we tried was just outstanding.

Don't know anything about south-american kitchen so have no idea if Kusi represents it or not, but for 6 months in Bali I never had such a tasty meal.

As for place itself, it's well located, clean and cozy, waiters do good, view from the second floor shows Ubud at its authenticity. It's far from noizy roads so that nothing interrupts you during your meal.

Doubtless recommend and will definitely be back.

We went there because of the great reviews and could not believe how the food tasted. We did not like it at all. The roastbeef had a sause that tasted extremely bitter and we could not enjoy the meat at all. Same with the octopus that came with celery foam we didnt like. Absolutely disappointing. We informed the waiter about our concern, but nobody cared. The second star is for the nice location.

A magnificent experience.

The food had the perfect combination of being surprising/innovative and tasting extremely well. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was good. I tried also the regional coctail based on Arak, and it was brilliant.

I will definitely return!

Perfect place - yummy food, kind service:) I just came in for a quick dinner by myself, they didn’t have the tea I wanted so gave me a complimentary starter. The food was tasty and fresh and unique! And the service staff were very polite and sweet:)

Incredible place! I can't stress this enough, it has all the right environment variables: great service, excellent food, and kind people. After an unexpected business trip to Bali I had the worst day (lost my luggage, awful business meeting and nearly lost my life in a weird bus related incident). All that went away after trying that amazing octopus (absolutely recommended!). I'll be sure to return as soon as I go back to Bali!

Top restaurant you must eat at! After a month in ubud this was our favorite dinner. Highly recommend the tiger prawns, pork dumplings and empanadas!

A MUST VISIT in Ubud. Fresh, delicious and the most welcoming owners and staff. If you love seafood, this is the place. Gluten free options as well! Salud!

I stumbled across this place by accident and I’m so glad I did. A lovely atmosphere and some of the most incredible food I have ever had!

Excelent food and service!
We tried the shrimp empanadas, the octopus, tiradito and crab quenelle. Really fresh products and great concept.
We also tried some cocktails and some biers and they were really good.
Definitely a must if you are in Bali 10/10

Nice restaurant. If you like to try new things and flavours you need to come to kusi! Totally mindblower.

Came here with a group of friends and the owners treated us like royalty. Beautiful space, great selection of beers and arak, great ambience. They let us stay after they were officially closed and even served a round of arak on the house. Owners are Magdelina and Anita, awesome people - definitely recommend hanging out on the patio facing the street.

The food was amazing! 100% recommended. Ordered the empanadas, tiradito, and the chocolate dessert. Everything was delicious!
