Kubudiuma Bali

Ruangan cukup luas, bangunan kayu membuat betah, tempat tidur bersih, lingkungan sekitar bungalow bersih, suasana desa di Bali, hening, karyawan ramah. Sarapannya saja yg kurang beragam. Mudah mencari gerai makanan. Ojek dan makanan online mudah. Jika ke Canggu pasti memilih tinggal di sini lagi.

Great stay at the beautiful Kubudiuma Villas. Very friendly staff, beautiful bungalows, nice pool, good ac and water pressure. Only a couple of minutes walk to the beach. Plenty of tasty food options right beside it. Amazing value for what you get. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Close to everything and quieter than in Canggu, very kind and available staff.
Room not very isolated but charming

Dirty bathrooms, no bar fridge on arrival had to argue with manager for one, no tv, pool unkempt, manager told us you get what you pay for and to leave if we didn't like it, so we did.

Such a friendly welcome. Away from the hustle and bustle but plenty of lovely restaurants and a shop right on your doorstep. Within walking distance of Canggu centre. We walked rather than using transport. Clean and tidy. Rustic, but the timber villas means you can get some noise depending on your neighbours. Outdoor shower, which I love. Simple tasty breakfast. Two pools.

This is really a 2 star hotel, with a small, rusty bungalow, awful bed (very uncomfortable, hard rock and extremely noisy at the slightest turn). Breakfast is poor quality, we ate outside after day one. But the staff, as everywhere in Bali is extremely polite, willing to help, friendly and open to any question or need so I have nothing but appreciation and thank you words for their kindness.

I came here for 3 weeks and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate anything required.

Beds comfy, air con, 2 beautiful pools, walking distance to shops and restaurants, 24/7 convience shop next door, and you have some of the best restaurants, Shelter, atlas 1 min walk.

I booked a room at Kubudiuma villas earlier in December for 1 night via Agoda that I paid for in advance - first big mistake.

On arrival I was taken to a bungalow that was different to the room I had booked, the bedroom was reasonably clean but smelt very damp. The bathroom however had seen better days. It was mouldy, dank and in need of a deep clean.

I went back to reception to inform the owner that this was not the room I had booked and referred back to my online booking. The owner then proceeded to say that the room I had booked online was not available as the AC was broken. I would have appreciated that this was told to me on arrival rather than being taken to a different, sub-standard room in the hope that I wouldn’t notice.

I said that I wasn’t happy with the room I had been given and that I would like a refund if the room I had booked online was not available. The owner then went off for a few minutes and came back saying that the original room I had booked was available after all but he just needed to clean it. He showed me the room and from a glance it looked like the right one. He also confirmed that the AC was definitely working in this one.

I then waited for the room to be cleaned before moving in. About 5-10 minutes after moving into the cleaned room it became apparent that the AC was in fact definitely not working… so once again I went to reception to inform the owner. He came back and firstly tried to tell me that it was working and that it was just ‘slow’, before then agreeing that it was in fact not working.

After all of this I said that I really wasn’t happy staying here and wanted a refund. The owner said that he would be unable to refund me and that I would have to go through Agoda as it was an online booking. I soon found out that this was a lie. Agoda will only refund you if the owner of the guesthouse agrees to, but when contacted by Agoda the owner stated that there was no problem because he had offered me an alternative room, and refused the refund!

Therefore I did not get my money back even though I didn’t stay there due to the rooms requiring maintenance and being different and inadequate to what was advertised.

I appreciate that guesthouses have struggled during covid and that the upkeep of places is hard to maintain when you have not had consistent business, however I do not think this is an excuse for false advertising, deception and stealing money from people.

Really nice place, loved staying here. They look after you so well, and the facilities are great. Good value, and pretty close to everything. Highly recommend it!

Great property with naturistic ambiance, very polite & helpful staff, good location. The standard villa is very good, clean with comfortable bed & really good AC. Very nice bathroom too. Both pools are good.
Breakfast can be better but whatever they served was tasty.
Recommended!

The place is lovely. Just don't stay in the wooden Joglo at the top. It's in desperate need of upgrading.

The place is barely maintained, most pictures shown on websites are 5 years old. Cheap price but I wouldn't recommend it.

Best part of the Kubudiuma experience is Wayan, who makes sure everything runs smoothly and takes care of the whole place. The garden is also nice.

Poor. Specially washroom is always we, all fittings in washroom are just scrap, always smells bad. But the open space of the villa is cool.

Located in a very nice and quite area of Changu. Walking distance form Echo Beach. Nice cafes and restaurants nearby. Very nice staff: they have been always kind and helpful. Best value for money: room was nice, comfortable bed, nice balcony. Only negative note: bathroom. It need a renovation and smell was bad.

Waste of money and waste of time. NO GOOD SERVICE. NO GOOD ROOMS. Dirty Bathroom and Toilets.they dont even come to take the glass after serving welcome drink. Very much noisy. Pools are very dirty, Frogs Everywhere.it anybody want to stay Good Luck With That

Great friendly staff, excellent place to stay, beautiful, well looked after. Short walk to beach and there is an amazing outside restaurant/cafe just around the corner. They also have scooters for $5 a day

Ich habe von 6 Nächten nur 1 ausgehalten. Für Surfer und junge Leute ganz OK. Die Hütten sehr sehr hellhörig und das offene Bad. Na ja habe auf Bali bessere offene gehabt. Aber das Personal mega freundlich und sehr bemüht. Man muss es mögen. Für mich kam es nicht in Frage
