Amazing atmosphere, but we were honestly a little disappointed by some of the dishes. My favorites were the pumpkin tortellin and sourdough bread. Definitely reserve a "cocoon! "

Great dining experience! It’s a must-do to dine in one of the cocoons if you’re in Ubud. The restaurant accommodated to my pescatarian diet and all the seafood was cooked exquisitely.

Stunning views of Bali. The resort is unreal. For the restaurant, they sit you in these little cocoons right on the River which is amazing. We choose the ~8 course meal with wine pairing and it was a great experience.

Wow! I took my girlfriend to Kubu for her birthday and was superb! We booked the private cocoon, and what an experience that was. The food was sooo tasty and well crafted. The staff was very friendly and engaging. Highly recommend this experience by the river in Ubud.

We had the pleasure of reserving one of their private cocoons, and it was an absolutely worthwhile experience. Being picked up by a buggy or golf car added a touch of excitement to the journey, and the entrance alone was breathtaking. I recommend booking an earlier time slot to capture stunning pictures before sunset. The service provided was exceptional, and they even provided the convenience of charging your phone within the cocoon. The only suggestion I have is to consider adding a pleasant scent or fragrance to the female bathroom. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend it for a memorable and enjoyable time.

The restaurant and the team are amazing. Its an experience. I ate the essencial menu with wine paring. I didn’t love the food and the regular wine are a step below from what I would expect from this restaurant.

Although i got scared by a flying cockroach, the whole experience was fantastic! Location is beautiful and food is delicious, but what made the dinner amazing was the wonderful service from Dewi.kind, attentive and so sweet! Definitely a must visit.

From the get go you are taken by buggie to the restaurant and you are taken to a natural rainforest fantasy world filled with wonder.
We managed to get a private cocoon on the same day of enquiring.
The team were lovely and arranged flower petals for the table and a lovely celebration cake.

It was a great time dining here! The tasting menu is very well balanced and every dish is its own unique experience. Each dish is thoughtfully designed and skilfully prepared. We were fortunate to sit in the cocoon which has a calming, beautiful view of the river too. Our server, Sawitri was very hospitable and professional, and was very kind to teach us more about the dishes and it was a lovely time:) Overall an unforgettable experience

The ultimate fine dining experience! Arriving at reception to be met with a golf buggy that drives you through the beautiful resort to the restaurant. We were seated in one of the private cocoons, which had breathtaking views of the river and jungle. The service was beyond professional and friendly. We chose the degustation and it did not disappoint. Amazing attention to detail. Each piece was incredibly presented and full of flavour. Including a bonus chef selection to start. Think - Vue de Monde/Attica level.
We were lucky enough to be visited by Bayu, the head chef, which made the whole experience even more special. We cannot recommend Kubu more highly. Thank you for such a special evening.
