Kost bu yati

I stayed at this Kost 1 month, payed 1.8 million Rupiah, although I heard locals pay less. The rooms have AC (of course), TV, refrigerator and a small kitchen sort of. However there is no security, and located in an area where there definitely is crime, beggars knocking on door, even people knocking and running away. I suspect they tried to lure me out, so they could swiftly enter and take items, wallet for example. I did not feel secure in this Kost. Be also aware that electricity is not included, and have to charged by putting in a code, token can be bought by the caretakers. A Kost like this should not charge more than 1.5 million per month, or even less. The standard is poor, although the rooms are big. Toilet have a water heater tank, but the water pressure is extremely poor and the flushing almost non-operational, which mean one must flush with a small handheld bucket. I know there are other Kost's in way better standard at the price of 1.5 million Rupiah pr month. If you are a tourist what they call "bule", the locals will ALWAYS try to highten the cost. So know that 1.5 million Rupiah is a standard type price and do not accept paying more. I can give this Kost 3 stars, due to the fact that a Warung is in same building, a Kiosk also. I would not recommend this Kost, especially if the price is above 1.5 jt. Also remember to bring towels, because there are none in the rooms.
