Koa Shala

Very appreciative of the consistent spoiling by the team at koa Shala. We were lucky to know many of the staff from aroma spa who transferred to koa. Tatik, dayu, Lia and all the girls are so skilled in the therapies offered. Reflexology, facials, Mani, pedi everything is 5 star. We feel so comfortable and indulged best treatments worldwide. Sanur is the best for interior design. In comparison, the masseuse's skills are below average. I really like massages, but this is the first time I've experienced pain in my nails more than 10 times during a massage. There is no questionnaire about the body of the person receiving the massage, no questions are asked in advance, and they don't really care even if you tell them which parts are particularly bad. I had two massages, but the masseuses had no understanding of the human body. The first time was normal, and the second time I felt like I was an apprentice maruta. I was so angry and this was the first time in my life that I didn't give a tip while getting a massage. It was a bonus that we had to wait 20 minutes even though we had a reservation. Even though the massage price is relatively expensive, it is a place that is not worth the money and shows bad skills in a good facility that was built with money, so avoid it.

I recently visited the Koa Shala in Sanur, and had a wonderful experience. The yoga studio has a peacefull atmosphere and provides all the equimpent you need for your practice.

I joined Hatha Flow and Gentle Yoga, both guided by Dewa with such attentive, pleasant and knowledgable guiding.

The class was only 120 IDR, which is super reasonable. Koa Shala also has a spa, which is highly recomendable after a yoga-class if you want to extend the mindfulness.

I booked and received a 1 hour massage and it was great.
I received Nuad bolan and he was kind and energetic with good pressure! When I come to Sanur, I definitely want to come back to finish my trip!

I've had 3 massages in Bali and this was the best. It will depend on the individual ability of the massage therapist, but the person in charge of me was good. I fell asleep while getting a massage. The facilities are also comfortable and clean.

Great experience here. Udi was the perfect masseuse. However, my experience with Koa Shala resulted in a BIG disappointment. The only way to book is to call via phone network or to email. I didn't have an Indonesian number to call, so I had to email to make a booking. After emails back and forth, they offered me a 1: 30pm appointment. I replied to lock it in. Being my last day, I planned my whole day around this appointment. Checked out of the hotel and walked through the hot sun only to be told that the appointment was never booked in for me and there was no room for me. Very very dissapointing. If Koa Shala can afford to make a website and afford nice facilities, why can't it invest in a simple booking system as part of it's website? We are living in the 21st century. Its pathetic that they have people managing a booking system.

This place is wonderful! My husband and I had a couples massage and loved it. Relaxing atmosphere and music, nice interior, excellent masseurs. And also before the massage we were offered very tasty tea.

Very quite place, everyone is welcoming and calm. Book on the phone and choose your massage when you arrive. There are many massages available, don’t hesitate to ask the level of deepness. You can have rooms with 2 beds to have a message at the same time as your friend or partner. All the treatments are « a la carte ». I really recommend this place. I felt lighter. I will come back before I leave sanur.

Excellent service and very friendly staff. This is one of the places you are afraid to give a good rating, Because they may become that busy that you would struggle to get a booking.

Brilliant. This is the place to go. Excellent massages, well worth the extra cost compared to the normal spa shops. 340 k for 90 minutes, worth every rupiah. Highly recommend.

Lovely place, great staff BUT, the most awkward foot massage in history (third time same experience) The masseuse was not comfortable, I wasn’t comfortable. 90min of trying to hold my legs stable so the cushion my legs were on wouldn’t slip into the foot wash basin with my other foot touching the masseuse leg. Chair has no arm rests so that in its self makes it non relaxing. Owners need to review the situation.

WORST MANICURE EVER!

Visited the place twice for massage, yoga, manicure and pedicure. The massage was pleasant and yoga was okay (too many mosquitoes), so I went there second time for manicure however, this time the quality was awful.

The manicurist was inexperienced in a rush to serve other customers. My nail polish was not even and started bubble up and peeled of the second day. Totally a wast of time and money! One star is too much.

Ambil 2 treatment Balinese Hands, pelayanan sangat memuaskan. Tempatnya bersih dan tenang banget. Terapis nya juga ramah.
