Ketuts Bali Cooking Class

Simply a fantastic experience thanks to the amazing staff, would recommend it to anyone visiting Ubud.

Even we were a big group of 20 people the cooking class was a brilliant event. They have two large kitchens and everything was perfectly organized. Ketut and his family are amazing, the food was delicious and I totally understand his very good recommendations. You won't have a private family style cooking but a perfect time with great food.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! We are sooo happy we did this. The staff was amazing, kind, helpful just all around good people. Definitely worth everything penny. You will not be disappointed!

I have never really been into cooking class. However, we have friends visiting and they would like to try so I did a research on a few cooking classes available in the area. I come across this cooking class and I thought it was very reasonable and it offers a free pick up from the hotel. It includes a morning visit to the market. Here are my thoughts, the visit to the morning market is not very useful, the market was pretty much closed by the time we got there (per schedule) and we got shown a few things but not very useful and the guide was very hard to understand and did not provide any context. The cooking class itself however was fun, sometimes, it's a bit OTT but overall, it's enjoyable. We got to have our own station and we cooked a few different dishes and we get to have them too at the end which is awesome. It's a very hands on class and I commend the class on that. It's more than just a show and tell. It's a combination of comedy and cooking classes. I haven't done too many of this to compare but overall, it was a good experience.

Awesome cooking class run by a lovely family! Vegetarian menu was amazing too, would recommend to vegetarians and non vegetarians! Made our own pastes and sauces and a 7 course lunch, it was so delicious with plenty of food. Best thing we did our whole Bali trip.

I took Ketut's cooking class in Ubud last Sunday. I had so much fun and Ketut is a wonderful cook and a teacher. If you are traveling alone, this is where you can meet new people and make friends without being super awkward lol

Ketut is the happiest person on this planet - coconut oil seems to be his elixir. Bum bum Bali, higher for the fire!

Excellent experience with Ketut. We were lucky to have him all to ourselves (2 people) and that may have enhanced the experience. They accommodate all food diets and restrictions to allow you to cook something delicious you will enjoy making and eating!

This cooking class is so much fun! Begins at the market to see where they get the food & spices. Then back to their place to cook it. 2 chicken dishes, tuna, soup, dessert & more. Ketut is so much fun and everything works like clockwork, no delays! You must take this cooking class!

I booked an afternoon class with Ketut’s bali cooking class. The pickup was a bit late but everything else was amazing. They are very responsive to reservations over WhatsApp. The class size was small (6 people) which made it easier and the instructor was lively and excited to teach us! Overall, a highlight of my stay in Ubud.

Absolutely loved the class. Super organised and great recipes. Ketut was an absolute star. He should have his own cooking channel. So infectiously happy.
Go hungry as you get a massive meal.

Such an amazing experience! Ketuts family are the nicest and funniest people you'll ever meet! They were so helpful and made the cooking experience one of the best things I've ever done! Definitely recommend!
