KAKUL VILLA UBUD

Had a fantastic stay here! Have been travelling for 3 months and this is by far the best place I’ve stayed. The staff were so lovely and really friendly and helpful. We were also delighted with our room and the breakfast was also delicious with lots of options. Would highly recommend!

The room and the facilities are kind of antiques. The shower room water pressure & hot water is not consistent.

The complimentary breakfast is not buffet style, but it's an a la carte menu. The good thing is I believe this is more hygienic. The black coffee is very flat and watery. Extra charge for latte or espresso kind of coffee.

It's very quiet at night.

Stayed hère for 3 nights, I got 2 adjoined suite rooms.

Cons
Theres a bad odour coming from thé toilet and aircond, this is same for both rooms.
Toilet floor feels slippery and slimy
Room is not cleaned well when we came, we had to request for cleaner to moped thoroughly
Room fels stuffy as theres no proper ventilation. Since aircond have a bad smell it doesnt help to improve thé ventilation.
Pillows felt damp, I slept with my travel pillow
Location: far from main area, suitable for those ride motorbike
If you liké to sleep in and wake up late, bad news as theres a loud sound from the "nature" it's very loud more like its screaming, bring ear plugs.

Its a lovely hotel, I hope they can improve and fix thé issue with toilet smell.

The facility is very pretty and the staff is very friendly. Also the breakfast was very good. For the price it's really excellent. Would come back anytime.

The deluxe double room was very good, spacious, comfortable and clean (the one in the photos). The suite room is very picturesque because it allows you a direct exit to the pool but there is not enough hot water for a shower (they say that because of the small size of the tanks).
Several breakfast options, rich and abundant. Also several options for lunch/dinner. Good prices.
A bit far from the center (15-20 minutes walking). The attention is very cordial and kind.

Nice hotel in a forest setting. Fast WiFi. Good breakfast. Polite and helpful staff. I will stay here again.

Villa yg tenang ada kolam anak juga jadinya anak anak pada happy. Staff yg ramah. Will come back again next time, if stay in Ubud️

Wet smell, too little lights everywhere - in the room, in the hall, in the toilet
Too small water heaters, only for one person, and not fact it will be enough (

Very nice place. Quiet, tranquil. Nice facilities and services. The room is actually bigger than in what I imagined. Best place to stay in Ubud!

Staff were great and friendly, a good choice of breakfasts and nice clean pools. The rooms were comfortable but not completely sealed, lots of gaps In doors and windows which meant lots of bugs got in, and there wasn't any nets available so we got bit quite a lot, this also made the rooms a bit noisy. Overall a great stay though

Far away from Ubud center, smell of farm animals, many flies and mozquitos, staff has little English and is not very collaborative. Very good breakfast

Excellent place to stay, excellent attention and service, EXTREMELY CLEAN. Worth your money.staff Everytime is up to help and serve you. My best experience in Bali. Excellent and tasty food (except for the crispy duck) I tried almost every thing they served.

It's a nice place to stay. A bit far from the city not convenient to walk. A lot of wildlife arround. The staff is helpful. Food is ok. Breakfast is normal, but not great. No WiFi in our Vila at least. Vila itself needs some updating but the bed was Very comfortable everything works and the cleaning staff were great!

If you don't have a scooter, it's hard to get around Ubud from Kakul. This place is far away from the center of Ubud and the road to the city center is steep and dangerous to walk. Getting a ride from there is hard too. The maintenance is poor and the place has a lot of bugs. Also, because kakul is located more in the country side, it smells of animal manure.

Great place, nice atmosphere, it’s a bit far from the action so you got to have a motorbike or get ready to order transport.
Rooms are good size, very clean, and amazing friendly staff.

Ok place to stay little bit far out food was pretty average and the Villa was a little run down

Kommen jedes Jahr hierher, lohnt sich jedesmal. Sehr freundliches/schnelles Personal, leckeres Frühstück und große Auswahl vom Menü. Sehr schöne Einrichtung und Motorräder sind auch leicht zum ausleihen.:)
