Kakatua Bar & Restaurant

Great relaxed atmosphere. The music isn't blaring like everywhere else - you can eat and chat without a headache afterwards. Great interior, attentive staff and delicious food, we really enjoyed it. Prices correspond to quality and service. If anyone wants to eat for $2, then go straight to the roadside warung.

A small maggot crawled out of the salad in my burger. I don't normally have anything against extra proteins, but the little worm was one over.

1 hour of waiting. 1 dish out of three was really good. SO I recommend the mushroom cream pasta.

This restaurant looks very attractive and clearly focuses on foreign tourists. The menu is enormously extensive. But too few staff in the kitchen so that the food takes much too long and the quality of food is much too low for the price you pay.
Deploy more staff in the kitchen and halve the menu so that you are able to offer the quality that makes people come back. I don't think people will come here a second time.

The Pizza is GREAT! North Bali has come a long way in their Pizza Abilities. The Mexican dishes are very good. Service is good and atmosphere is good. Kakatua has become one of our favorite places to eat in Lovina area.

The place looks okay. However, we needed to wait a very long time for our drinks. We had the hamburger and it was still raw. We got a new one that was completely dried up. Day after we were sick.

Would not recommend!

The place looks Nice, but the food isn’t.the first meal we ordered was still raw. Also it took very long to get our drinks. Price way too high for what you get.

Food quality was below average. Had to wait over 30 minutes for a bowl, in a practically empty restaurant. Prices in the menu are without taxes and they charge u 5% service charge, even though they did not earn it at all

I got to say tho, the restaurant ambience is cool, simple, minimalist and quiet unique at the same time. They have friendly staff and they patiently enough to taking care of you although in busy hours. Overall, food wise it was ok, as I only have chicken salads and pizza (although the pizza quality is wasn’t that great but still tasty) in terms of the price wise, well…very reasonable and not overpriced. I don’t know I just loved the atmosphere here especially if you are sitting close to the sidewalk which overlooking onto the street.

Visit this bar now 2x for coffee. One of very few places i found with real nice coffee. Also friendly staff and prices are more than reasonable.

Everything was delicious until the panna cota.
The fish (whole) soup was good, it has Balinese taste and we ordered (forgot the name) but it was fish steak with European taste and it was perfect!
The coffee was great.
The price is reasonable.
The staff are very friendly.

Only the panna cota was weird, they used a certain cheese (maybe ricotta) in it and the taste wasn't like real panna cota anymore, for me panna cota should be soft flavored (milk) not a strong cheese flavor. It had a really strong flavor and i tought it wasn't fresh but my mom told me it's that cheese flavor. But the strawberry sauce on it was good.
