Kajin Japanese Contemporary Sushi

We dined in here recently and had sushi. The sushi was below average, the place was extremely crammed because the tables were too close to each other, and the price for what we ordered was too much. We weren't even full after ordering three plates of sushi rolls. Moreover the service was below average- we had to constantly ask for water, paper napkins etc. A fancy place like this should have high standards of customer service. Not worth visiting this restaurant.

All the food tasted delicious and fresh.what I really love is the ambiance land the music they played there. When I was there they played a slow jazz music, wishing they could play 1920's kinda music

Yummy sushi in the heart of Seminyak. The staff were super friendly. Recommend the tuna rolls more than the sashimi but that’s a personal choice I suppose. Overall, fantastic and would go again if we could!

Fresh quality sashimi in the middle of Petitenget. Unagi roll was out of the ordinary with raw salmon and crispy salmon skin

I stayed in Bali for a week, so far I had the best lunch experience in this restaurant. Me and my wife ordered garlic rice, chicken nanban, gyutan pirikara negishio (ox tongue), cold ocha and some desserts. The music, the staffs, and interiors are pleasant.

The GRO will suggest you sit on the sushibar for 2 person even you already booked by application. When you asked any other table, he will said that tables are reserved.

Overpriced, taste so so, sushi tei or sushi hiro is even better at only about 1/3 or their price! The biggest upset was the ocha, it cost almost 30.000 after tax and NO REFILL! This is the only japanese place that does this from my experience.other customer has mentioned this as well in previous review but i guess they just don't care about customer feedback. This restoran just want to get your money as much as possible even from the ocha! Down staire, Rayjin is much better.better food, better place, better price and you can get refill for ocha. Definitely won't come back here.

Definitely the best sushi in Bali. I recommend pretty much anything on the menu, we have been 3 times and have yet to be disappointed by a single bite.

One sublime dining experience I had in Bali. This was my first visit to Kajin but definitely won't be my last. I went to Kajin for dinner with a friend and we ordered several dishes - Seafood Tar Tar Cocktail, Calamari Butter Yaki - but the highlight was its Boat Sashimi Set. Assorted fresh sashimi presented in a wooden boat. The two of us finished everything by ourselves, Yup! It's that great. Calamari Butter Yaki can be an option for those who don't eat raw. It is best eaten with rice since it tasted lil bit salty. Anyway, you might wanna recheck your bill before paying, because it happened to us that the staff misentry several dishes which were not ours to our bill. All in all, we spent great night at Kajin. So Japanese food in Bali, why not?

The sushi is good. The sashimi is ok. Not the best in town but considering with the price is quite allright. The place is a bit small and on the second floor.

Real shiso leaves, delicious and inspired cocktails: the Yuzu margarita was oishi! We ordered the sashimi and sushi boat, soup (the best I’ve ever had! And I’ve eaten SO MUCH SUSHI. It ended up costing around $60 USD for us to completely STUFF ourselves on really delicious fish, 7 drinks (including sparkling water that costs as much as the beer) and dessert. Back home that would have been at least $150, and the artistry and atmosphere was delightful. Would for sure return!

Quaint sushi spot that is very reasonably priced in the Seminyak area. The food is good but we found the more expensive pieces such as tuna belly to be very stringy and not good bites. The lower priced fish such as the butterfish Nigiri, salmon aburi and broiled eel was delicious.

This tiny spot is fabulous and is located on the 2nd floor. The staff are all smiles. The sushi was fantastic and good portions.
It's not open late so check the time before heading over.
