Highly recommend this great guest house on Nusa Penida! The location is nice and close to the marina where you arrive with the boat/go out for snorkeling tours. The rooms are big, fresh and clean. Staff is super lovely and informative, they clean your room every day and when I had Bali belly they were very sweet and helpful. They even make you breakfast in the morning. We also rented scooters from them to ride around the island and the price is fair and the scooters are good.

The pool area does not correspond to the images, they are undergoing construction building more bungalows so the green area does not exist. My views were a scaffold. The room was fine but large spiders entered through the air conditioning hole. We were able to leave our bags after checkout and they brought us breakfast 15 minutes earlier upon request. For the price I expected something better.

The owners and staff were lovely and did everything they could to help us. Breakfast each morning was very pleasant. During our stay, half of the hotel was under construction, however it was never noisy and did not affect us. Great value for money.

Great guesthouse and Luh Mariani is incredibly friendly and is available to answer any questions. She explained everything to us briefly and we were able to tell her via WhatsApp every evening what and when we wanted to have breakfast There are only 4 dishes to choose from for breakfast, but the two we ate (Fried Noodles and Toast with omelette) were very tasty The rooms are spacious, clean and look very modern The pool was also clean. There are also 2x two loungers with parasols. The beach was within walking distance and there are many restaurants in the area.
! Little rake! There is currently a construction site on the property next to the pool as the owner appears to be expanding or renovating. The noise was limited and could only be heard during the day (never before breakfast). Since we were out and about most of the time, it didn't bother us.
There seems to be a school in the immediate vicinity, so you could hear the children until the end of school, but we didn't find that disturbing either.
We would book the J&J Guesthouse again and can highly recommend it

Stayed one night. The location is good, about 10 minutes from the port, cafes nearby. They offer mopeds at reasonable prices per day (minimum 75k, depending on the moped). The hosts are quite nice.
Unfortunately not the cleanest place. The bed linen is completely stained. Breakfast is small, with a choice of one dish + a small plate of watermelon:

1. Omlete with toast
2. Scramble with toast
3. Toast with jam
4. Fried noodles
Beverage: Tea or Coffee

There is renovation going on near the pool area, so half of the hotel area is covered with iron sheets, but it was quiet.

We had a great stay here. The room was clean and as in photos. The hosts were very welcoming and always willing to help.

Location was near the beach, so that was great. We could rent scooters. The room was clean and spacious. Bathroom was big enough. Breakfast and service could be bit better. Pool was bit small, we were with 6. Overal positive stay!

Didn't give it 5 because they didn't change the duvet even after they saw it got stains of blood, the just turned it over, and also the towels weren't changed daily. The breakfast wasn't good at all, very few items available and not tasty at all. The staff was great, the rooms were clean and the location is good.

Perfekter Aufenthalt! Tolle Lage, super schöne Anlage, die Familie/Gastgeber sind sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Sie können helfen sowohl Transport, Boot und Schnorcheltouren zu organisieren.:)
Frühstück ist lecker und kann super als Alternative dienen wenn man nicht auswärts essen möchte. Vielen Dank für alles, immer wieder gerne.

We had the best week at ‘J&J Guesthouse’ - what a welcoming, homely & gorgeous homestay. The pool is the best we have found in our 4 1/2 month Asia trip, the perfect temperature and surrounded by a perfectly kept & clean garden. The room is spacious & cleaned daily, with a comfortable bed. The thing that made our stay so special was the hosts. We had the pleasure of meeting Komang, who was helping his mum out for the week & he is the loveliest man - so polite and helpful. He helped us rent a scooter, go on two snorkelling trips & transfer to Gili Air, all for very good prices. He will definitely stick in our memories as one of the loveliest people we met! Mariano (the translator) was also super helpful, answering all our queries daily. Another perk was the tasty breakfasts we ate every day - we will be recommending this guesthouse to all our friends, & if we return to Nusa Penida we will be back! The location was perfect - a few minutes from the harbour, & the Nusa Island’s are just the perfect getaway.

We had a wonderful short stay at J&J guest house. The rooms were clean and the aircon was on when we arrived!
The hosts were very helpful and friendly - they helped organise a scooter for us and recommended the ferry we should take.
Very close to the ferry access, maybe a 5 min walk, and 5 min walk to the shops/restaurants.
Would definitely recommend this villa!

This place was definitely worth the price. Very cheap, air conditioning, wifi, swimming pool, breakfast included. There only are 5 rooms so it is a very quiet place. Mariani was very kind and friendly, and suggested plenty of nice activities to do or places to eat. The host helped us with the scooter rental. She even helped adding us at the last minute on a snorkeling tour. I strongly recommend this guesthouse.

Amazing find. Mariano went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. The bungalows feel brand new and are very cozy. Wifi worked well. This is a photo of the pool during sunrise.
