JI Restaurant Bali

We had dinner and drinks on the rooftop for sunset and it was an excellent experience. Venue, view, service, wine and dinner were all on point. Value for money also seemed very competitive for the area.

Great restaurant with a gorgeous romantic sunset setting.
We’ve come to Ji twice within the last two days and ordered a variety of items from the menu and I can confidently say that whatever you order is going to be delectable.
Their food is great! Fresh, tasty and is indeed Japanese with a twist.
The atmosphere is enjoyable and the service impeccable.

Amazing views! This place was really romantic & cute. The sashimi was so fresh and delicious! All the dishes we had were made so delicately and thoughtfully. Really lovely restaurant overlooking the beach! Book before 6pm to watch the sunset

One of the best restaurants we've eaten at in Bali! The Tsukiji Salad, Salmon Lava Roll and Sushi Boat were flavorful and delicious. All the cocktails were high end and carefully crafted. Great service and you simply cannot beat the view!

Loved the sushi here! The atmosphere is great, plenty of seating with amazing views especially at sunset. I will definitely eat here on a regular basis, amd i suggest you try the fatty yellow fin tuna, its like the wagu of the sea

Food was really good and fresh, but that’s where the good part ends. We ordered a couple starters a couple main dishes and some sushi. Our main dishes showed up before our starters. It took an hour and 10 minutes to receive any food on a Thursday evening. We waited an additional 30 mins and our waiter never stopped by our table. We grabbed him and asked about our sushi and he said he forgot to put in the order.

After an hour and 55 minutes we finally received our last dish. As this was my first experience, I will not be going back. I highly recommend not going when they are busy.

Great restaurant. Good service and will never forget how the food tastes. The signature cocktails are extraordinary. Dessert was so good. It’s pricy, but worth it, once in a while.

Came here for a second time with my wife since the first time we had very fresh sushi, the best we ever tried in Bali. Second time was a total disaster, the rice is sticky and overcooked, the fish is not fresh and low quality. Ordered Otoro nigiri which was chewy, salmon and pineapple carpaccio had no pineapple to be seen, taste was terrible. Ji rainbow roll had Pieces of crab shell inside. Overall a total disaster. Quality of fish is low grade at best. Don’t waste your money here if you want good quality sushi!

The best sushi that I had in last 3 years. Awesome atmosphere, location, service and food was just simply good. It was yes pricy for Bali, but Canggu area was honestly all pricy everywhere.

This has to be the best meal I've had in Bali thus far. Reasonable pricing for the quality of the food. Absolutely recommend going here for Japanese. Also, a great view!

Was great the first 2 times I ate here. Came back for a 3rd time and was very disappointed. A shame because first 2 times both meals were some of the best steak/sushi I’ve had recently. 3rd time the steak was nothing but fat and sushi felt below par.

The quality of food is quite good, but I dont suggest to go during the brunch, sunday, if you don't want to spend 400k ~ Or you'll have no other choice than order a la carte and receive mini/half portions {because the brunch policy} not enough for a proper meal, why? Lame treatment

Convenient location, but high priced Japanese food without the quality and taste to justify it.

Portions are very small so to fully enjoy the experience you would need to purchase the high ticket options. Expect to pay over 50$ USD

Such a lovely time at Ji, the view is incredible and perfect for a romantic night. I had the sashimi and dragon of Ji sushi plus the salmon sashimi was very fresh. The young coconut crème brûlée is very unique and my absolute favourite. Definitely recommend!

Have been here more than 10 times.
Rolls are okay but the Noodle dishes are not the Japanese Style. The noodle, with that price, is a little bit (?) problem. Why use that kind of noodle? , why not Japanese noodle?
The chef didn't charge the payment for that noodle, but, sorry, I need to review honestly. However, the Soup of noodle was really nicely done, better than any other places.

Anyway, the view is the point to visit here.

A must go to place when visiting Bali! Stunning interior and don’t get me started on the food! Simply delicious! The sashimi melts perfectly in your mouth!
