Itong Bodywork

This is more than a massage, it’s treatment. I came in with chronic knee and shoulder pain and have treated for it with countless physical therapists and masseuses. Itong knew my body so well after a quick scan and got to work untightening the associated muscles and ligaments. I highly recommend a visit to Itong. Try to schedule in at least 2-3 visits over the course of a week. You will not be disappointed.

Itong is one of the most amazing and professional body therapist who I met on my road, very deep and profound work, that is not always joyful, but very helpful and long-lasting result.

Itong is an amazing healer and I’d recommend him to anyone who wants the real thing. This is my third visit and in the past has fixed issues the doctors in Australia told me my, only option was surgery.

I just had the best deep tissue massage from Mary. Even my massage therapists in Canada don’t compare. Highly recommended if you have a lot of knots and tension anywhere in your body. They REALLY know what they are doing… very intuitive. You can message them for an appt on WhatsApp… I wish I could go again but I only have one more day in Ubud.

A great massage by a truly talented, outstanding massage therapist (Merry). She felt exactly where there was tension and tackled it with strength, precision and sensitivity. A true healing place that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a medical healing massage. I have experienced many massages and I can definitely say that this one is one of the best of my life. And I can only encourage everyone to give the masseuse the same trust as the much-recommended man. She's gorgeous! The treatment is definitely worth the price. Half an hour of individual therapy is IDR 150, I recommend the 60 minutes (IDR 250) as I wish it wouldn't stop Thanks Merry!

Highly recommend. Legit masseuse. One of the best pain relieving massages my friend and I have ever had. My friend has had many sports massages in the past and Itong was a highlight. He knows the trigger points. Painful at times but so worth it if you need a transformative massage. Amazing price - cash only - book ahead.

I've had a lot of massages in my time and can say with confidence that Itong Body Works is the best! I asked for a strong massage and definitely got what I wanted. Itong skillfully and efficiently got into all those painful spots. He clearly knew the body well. And great value for money. I'm going to be a returning customer for as long as I'm in Ubud.

Long story short, Itong is the first person that really helped me with issues I've been dealing with for years, in several areas of my body, and no one ever tried to understand it as much as he did.he obviously knows the human body like not many professionals seam to, he is confident with his treatment and movements and goes strait to the point, even finding pains and tightness you didn't know you had/ were the origin of your pain.for the previous comments that thoughts he is being too hard and doesn't know what he is doing, your are obviously not ready for actual treatment and gentle massages might be more accurate for you.be ready for some discomfort, as Itong is doing really deep work, which can honestly hurt, but you will feel afterwards like you're flying and rediscover your body in a way you probably havent experienced in a very long time.at least, it was my case.
I have been seeing him 3 times in the 2 weeks I spent in ubud, and felt really sad knowing that I wouldn't have such a good professional to help me like he did after I left the island.so I guess you understood that you definitely should go and seek help to Itong if you have been looking for healing and efficient technics.book in advance as he is busy, ask for prices and treatments as he is offering different options.price wise, expect a bit more than the average massage, but 10x the result of any "therapist". If you have any back issues or injuries do yourself a favour a see Itong. This is not a normal massage so expect some discomfort but you will feel much better after, highly recommended.

I cannot believe I've lived here a year and just went to Itong-I wish I would have been seeing him throughout this whole year. Amazing massage, truly. I'll definitely go back. Great for those, like me, with a desk/computer job.
He's strong, powerful, no nonsense, intuitive. Can be deeply painful, as he gets into trigger points, tension, pain - but you know he's working to release it and you'll be better for it afterwards. One of the top bodyworkers I've seen in Bali, certainly (and I've visited a fair share).

He is the ultimate sore point detective and a strongman at taking care of it, my best massage ever, thanks to Itong.
