The AC in the rooms does almost nothing and the wifi is not good. We came back to our room after an afternoon out to find mouse poop all over our bed. This happened two days in a row.

Although the outside looked nice, the inside of the hostel was pretty average. The bathrooms were seriously old and gross, and the staff was just okay—nothing too friendly. It's a bummer because it seemed like it could be cool, but it ended up being a bit of a letdown with the outdated vibes and not-so-great service. Breakfast is also pretty low average.

I stayed 2 nights in a private and 3 nights in a dorm and I would say that the dorm downstairs was way superior to the private. The dorm was a lot nicer and cleaner and the air con worked vs the private is in an older building so the air, water pressure and lighting was weak. The staff was very kind and breakfast was perfect for me. A quiet easy going hostel but I do wish there was a little kitchen/fridge and maybe some sort of cultural or social activity.

The assessment is old, even before the pandemic, and, however, does not reflect reality.

The hostel has recently been refurbished and is in excellent condition. There are private rooms right next to the pool.

We have stayed here for a month and we couldn’t have had a better experience. Agus and the rest of the family are very nice people, super calm and respectful. They were renovating the place to open the hostel so we didn’t get to live with many other guests.

Good place to stay, clean and chill atmosphere. Good location, close to everything but still far enough for peace and quite. The customer service staff seem to be unapproachable though, not the friendliest; the houskeeping staff is amazing though. If you plan on buying any tour packages or trips to Gili and other islands DO NOT buy from here, much cheaper from tour places on the street; almost half the price on the streets. I made the mistake of buying a two way trip to Gili island from here and found it half the price on the streets. Ten minutes later I asked if I could exchange it for a one way trip and they said no.

Such good value for money! I would have stayed here for my entire time in Ubud had I found it earlier. It's located close to everything you could possibly want and up a hill so you feel like you're much more remote than you actually are. Loads of solo travellers and great vibes. The food was reasonably priced and super tasty. There was a super cute puppy living there that was so chill and got loads of snuggles from the guests. Will definitely be staying here again when I return to the beauty of Ubud.

Extremely affordable hostel in central Ubud. For the price that you pay, you got access to swimming pool and also there is a bar in which you can buy some beer and chill. I like this place because this is the hostel where you can meet many people from around the world.

Best experience in a dormitory in southeast Asia. Really cheap, clean, nice chilling area and pool.

Lovely pool and garden, and small bridge above a pond with colourful fish, great prices for the hostel. Not the cleanest but great atmosphere. I liked that every bed has a double electrical socket. There's a bar by the pool.about 5 wifi networks but all of them busy and the Internet works sometimes very good sometimes very bad.friendly helpful staff, food is ok, acceptable prices. Great for budget travelers.

We had a great experience, but walked away with bed bugs. Big bummer for us. The common spaces and pool area are really great, though.

Beds, showers, toilets, are all absolutely filthy.my sheets were not clean and the mattresses was so old and uncomfortable I literally couldn’t sleep at all.

Yes the pool looks nice in the pictures but the area isn’t maintained and there’s is no privacy or security.

All this despite there being about 10 staff stood around chatting at any given time.

I checked out and got a private room at a home stay instead for just a little more, and I suggest you do too.

Good stay for the value. Paid only 6 dollars for 12 person dorm. It's all open concept so there is no privacy. The pool is nice and there are lots of areas to socialize with fellow guests. It's very close the center and ubud market. The food is reasonably priced although I didn't try any as you can go down the street to find cheaper food. Check in was easy. The WIFI here is not the greatest, so if you need to do work, you will have to find a coffee shop or somewhere else.

Very cheap and it is clean, you can eat there for low prices and the pool ist nice to chill out, but we think it wasn't very familiar or personally because of the big rooms.

Beautiful location but unfortunately unfriendly staff, nasty rooms (rat on the bed at night - we did not eat in our room) and cockroaches on the sofas at the lounge.
