Ikan Restaurant & Bar at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali ulasan
35It was the most horrible New Year's Eve meal ever! Our waiter was very friendly and personable. However, the 5-course menu was an absolute cheek. Serving bread with butter as a course was also a bad joke. Every warung in Indonesia serves better food!
A superb location. Indah, who works behind the bar, took very good care of us, she is a real asset. So charming and attentive.
Indonesian desert was good (national pie - pangan). Fish also was good (in menu it is written down " you must try it")
It is not the best restaurant at Bali, but you will not regret about visit it.
Elevated Balinese classics, Nasi Campur, Nasi Goreng, duck and othe Seafood versions of great local dishes.
The service was off, the interior and setting a little tired and dated, but if you come for the food you will leave happy.
Food was delicious. The fish (Barramundi Sambal Bongkot) deserves a mention, as it was one of the best dishes I had during our trip to Bali.
The view was beautiful and the restaurant was very spacious and had a nice ambiance.
The only minor negative is the food took a significantly long time to arrive, even though it was off peak and the restaurant was definitely not crowded.
Overall, I can definitely recommend trying it out.
Delicious bar on the beach of the Westin Hotel in the tourist area of Nusa Dua.
We had some beers with my wife, we shared with our children and everything was very good.
I ate a very tasty lobster Laksa soup, when I ordered it I thought it was small, but when they brought it to me I was surprised, very good, totally recommended.
At night they do a typical show on the beach. The only thing I think they need is to set the mood a little better with some music.
We ended up going there for 4 times during our stay at The Westin. The food was excellent. We love every dishes there! Cheers to the chef team! The service was great also. We ordered Tomahawk one time and it was worth it. The bills that night was 4 millions but 2 mils was on the drinks. It was amazing. I loved the side dish and everything. My husband and i killed it but for sure that could fill up to 4 people.
However, we asked for inquiry about to tomahawk it took a village to get the weight and price (it’s not on the menu). We ordered it without knowing whether the weight the told us was cooked or precooked weight since they couldn’t answer and it took 3 people to find out. It’s told that it was 1.7kg which i assumed that was precooked weight. I take that as no one barely order the dish.
The restaurant environment is nice. It faces the ocean and has live music starting from 6.30pm.
Don’t forget to drop a visir during happy hour at 5-7pm! There’re non alcoholic and alcoholic choices.
Masakan indonesia di tepi pantai nusa dua.
Ini bagian dari hotel westin.
Pelayanan mantap.ramah.cepat.
Rasa enak.
Harga ya harga hotel dong.
They had Balinese fire dancers performance during dinner! It was the perfect vacation dinner experience
Being an Indian wanted to get some spicy food and the restaurant were happy to customize our nasi goreng and satay which turned out to be delicious.
Only problem is outside sitting has mosquitoes lurking around
Duck was crispy but lacking in flavor and the pork ribs were pretty dry. The drinks were the highlight although many of their liquors they only offer by the bottle which makes little sense. They were out of Caesar salad and guacamole which were two things we tried to order. The food came quickly but the service was very poor, and we had been waiting for about 25 minutes with our finished meals before we were asked about dessert which we wanted but were then told that the kitchen had closed 15 minutes ago which was very disappointing as we easily could have gotten dessert or at least been notified that it was last call for anything. The servers were also unable to answer basic questions about what comes with different dishes and had seemingly little knowledge of what was going on. Overall a disappointing experience for an expensive restaurant relative to the rest of Bali.
I didn't expect to have North Indian food there! But we had to eat NI food as they didn't have any other option!
Pros: pelayanan bagus, a la carte western food cukup banyak, rasa makanan enak.
We experienced a cocktail at the sunset time, the staff is not really always present even if we were few people. The seats are comfortable and you're feet are not on the sand even if it's on the beach. The cocktails were tasteless, i cannot recommend this place for aperitif.
Had lunch here with family while on vacation with them at Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali. We had Nasi Goreng, Mee Goreng and Coconut Juice. The Gorengs were too sweet for our Singaporean tooth (we're used to spicy versions), but I bet this will be a hit for those who are still figuring out Asian food.
For dinner, we had BBQ platter, which consisted of satay, crayfish, mussels and fried food. We also ordered grilled chicken and fish for variety.
Two stars for the beach view and the staff. When we went it was very noisy with a wedding next to the restaurant. Not a very relaxing place. The food is average and overpriced for the quality. We loved the hotel but the Ikan restaurant was a real disappointment.
Live the authentic Balinese dishes offered by the restaurant. Nasi Goreng was my favorite choice for a quick but filling lunch!
The restaurant's on the Nusa Dua "luxury shoreline" is much all the same, for kulinary experiences look elsewhere
I never visit 5 star hotel like this, it's a simply superb hotel the candle light dinner was very high light one in this hotel. I like this hotel very much
