24Where does one start. Fabulous.dined at Ijen. Service 5 star-immaculate and attentive. Whole vibe through out buzzing. Undeniably one of the best in business.
Very nice experience
The Mango dessert was just amazing (we took it twice)
Thank you
Good food. Great vibes. Fantastic place to people watch!
Please note, they don't allow pick up from the drop off point by the entrance. I brought my luggage along as this is my last stop before my flight and it was mighty inconvenient to drag it to the main road! There's no proper walkway too.
We had a fantastic seafood dinner at ljen! After days of eating various forms of chicken satay we were craving some fish and ljen’s whole market fish hit the spot. Portion was large and the fish (red snapper that day) was cooked to perfection. Location at the potato head hotel right on the beach was a huge plus, we saw the loveliest sunset, the ambiance is chef’s kiss. The staff was also very lovely and the place is lively. Highly recommend for seafood lovers looking for dinner with beach views.
Food is the yummiest we ordered grilled prawn and cold calms.
The place is super crowded
I sat at the bar of Aizen Restaurant overlooking the sea. The bartenders Adi and Andy are so kind, and the drinks are really good. Having a drink and swimming, having a drink and swimming is the best
The seafood is delicious and fresh. No complaints on the food. However, the ambience come dinner time leaves much to be desired, unless you like having loud clubbing music pounding beside you whilst you eat in the dim light. Lunch would probably make for a better experience.
Very good service with a freshhh and delicious grilled seafood. Also the oyster is very very good and fresh. Would def recommend! Price was a bit pricey tho
Food was good- however it wasn’t clear that it wasn’t a part of potato head.
However pleasantly surprised by the menu. Bit pricey but a cool place with a cool vibe.
Tried to charge me twice for the dinner. The food isn’t bad, but attitude of the staff ruined the whole experience.
Super overpriced.
Cocktails and mocktails were bland.
We had the fresh and grilled oysters which were not fresh. The cooked octopus was not bad, and the king prawns were ok.
The service was not good. We asked to order the clams and were told it's sold out; but after we had finished our meal, the service staff at the next table was recommending the clams to his guests.what? !
They overcharged us.luckily we checked our bill.
There are really better options nearby.
Delicious food, great environment, and super friendly staff, no food is wasted tonight! Thanks Jonathan for getting birthday cake for my mom!
Delicious fresh seafood and excellent service. It's good to know it's a no-waste meal
I think it's probably the hippest restaurant. The atmosphere killed me! The food was usually grilled fish with butter + chili, which was ok, but the ravioli was not.
Above all, the food is more expensive than expected. Be sure to check the price before ordering for food that price is not listed.
It was an open restaurant, so I had no choice but to eat it because the flies were entangled in it.
Massively underwhelming food and service. Starter and main came together, before my drink. I’ve had better food elsewhere in Bali. Expensive and pretty bland. Shame because the rest of the hotel is pretty cool
The oyster is to die for, it is raw but has this cider sauce that elevates its flavor. The food is quite unique, it uses most of the parts of the animal as texture so it reduces food waste.
Ijen was a seafood restaurant inside the Potato Head Beach Club in Bali, Indonesia. I went there around 7 pm on a Wednesday night. The restaurant was in an outdoor area with ocean view. Next to the restaurant seating, there was a large area filled with beach lounge chairs. With hundreds of young people and loud music, the place was full of energy. It was not a place for a quiet dinner. The waitstaffs were polite and attentive. The seating was not that comfortable. The grilled octopus lacked the grilling flavor and a bit too sweet. I didn’t like the unusual flavor of the cauliflower side dish. However, the grilled fish was nicely done. After dinner, a walk on the beach was relaxing.
The place complemented the beach highlighted with modern art and art works. The restaurant while casual was elegant, spacious and quite comfortable. Service was very efficient courteous and polite while the ceviche and squid were excellent and close to perfection the grill whole red snapper was bland and a disappointment. The view of beautiful people laying out and enjoying the weather was a different scene all together.

Seafood with good vibe. I love the fresh tropical food they have here and the vibe cos you can enjoy good music from Potato Head Beach Club. Must try: Grilled Fish and Roasted Cauliflower.
Amazing concept and philosophy of ecoBali to attain zero waste program. Located inside Potato Head beach club, Ijen Restaurant Bali will deliver you some serious good seafood.
Wonderful concept, design, fresh ingredients and the result is fantastic, it's actually tastes so good.
My personal favorite would be Baby Squids, King Prawn with tasty sauce, also try their Barbecued Corn, Grilled Fish and refresh yourself with, real coconut water and some amazing desserts.
