Ian Surf Bali

I took 2 lessons with Ian and all I can say is that he is so calm and very easy to follow his instructions.

Pelayanan sangat buruk, very very bad, kalo habis main di pantai jgn bersih2 ditempat ini pdhl sama2 bayar kamar mandi tapi lagi bersih2 malah d suruh pergi, gobl*k pelayanan disni.

Ian is not only super humble, kind and funny, but deffinetly one of the best surf instructors in Bali. I was lucky enough to learn from him, had many sessions together, loads of fun: he really got me addicted to surfing - now there's no turning back!
If you are in Bali, he is the only surf instructor to learn from!

Amazing experience with Ian! It was our first time surfing and he was really fun and patient with us. First we did a theory lesson at the beach on how to stand up on the board and after we jumped into the water! I never imagine I would make it but we really did it and it was the most amazing feeling. We made a break for some coconut water at the beach and then we continued. Highly recommended lesson, even if you are a beginner do not hesitate. Ian’s fiancée even took professional photos of us and made us look really cool 5 stars!

I already had several surf lessons in Kuta, Bali. With Ian I definitely had the best lesson ever. Before we went into the water, Ian explained everything about the board itself and about the technique already at the beach. He is really patient and answered all my questions. I had an amazing afternoon and caught many waves. Can't wait for my next lesson with him.

We stayed at Ian's place through Airbnb and decided to take a surfing lesson with him. The experience was great! He is so far the best surfing instructor I had and I would totally recommend the experience of surfing with him!

Ian is a great teacher. He really sees when the right wave is coming and will tell you when to start paddling and if he notices you need an extra help he will push you for the wave too. Its the best way for a begginer to learn, because after a few waves you will know how to catch one yourself too. As a local he also knows all the best spots for all level surfers.
