Hatten Wines Bali

Tried the wine tasting, it was a nice experience trying original wines from Bali. Also friendly staff and well explained!

The wine is good, the location is pleasant, but that's not enough for a successful wine tasting!
Four of us were there last night and were allowed to choose between 3 different "programs", the prices had surprisingly increased from 150,000 to 200,000 IDR. If you wanted cheese with your wine, you would have had to pay an additional 80,000 IDR each.
We were then given a tablet on the table with rough information about the winery, from which we were then allowed to watch the information film.
The staff said one sentence per wine, poured us the entire program straight away and disappeared. There were tiny puddles in the glass and we had to hurry, otherwise the white and rosé wine would have been warm in the poorly air-conditioned shop!
Only when asked and slightly criticized did an employee come to the table again and pour out another variety "at the house's expense".
The wines were tasty, but the staff didn't seem like they knew why we were doing a wine tasting, otherwise one of them would have asked if we would like to buy some more wine. And when you pay, the credit card reader suddenly doesn't work. Rip-off and completely out of touch with what you're used to at a wine tasting!

Interestingly the australian wines were more sourish bitter in taste, whereas the indonesian ones were more fruity and balance. It will be depending on the personal taste of each person

Do also push for extra sweet wine tasting. Service was great and thorough

Hatten wines bali is a winery and also the office of a hatten wines company that was established in 1994. Ida Bagus Rai Budarsa founded Hatten Wines, as the first and only Balinese winery, and introduced the taste of Balinese wine to hotels and restaurants throughout Indonesia.

Hatten Wines head office is located on Jl. Bypass Ngurah Rai No. 393, Sanur Kauh, South Denpasar. The Hatten Wine head office has facilities in the form of a large parking area, a front office area to welcome guests, toilets, classrooms which are usually used for wine meetings/testing, a restaurant, a barrel room. Accessibility to reach Hatten Wines Bali is not too difficult, easy to reach because road access is easy to find and from I Gusti Ngurah Rai airport it only takes about 20 minutes. Hatten Wines Bali operates daily from 9am to 8pm. At hatten wines bali we can see various types of wine and also how the process of making wine is very useful and useful for us to know more about wine. Apart from that, at Hatten Wines Bali, we can also carry out several activities such as getting knowledge from Ms. Widya through the Hatten Education Center where we will be given complete information about wine, starting from the type of wine, the conditions for harvesting, and the manufacturing process to produce quality wine.besides that we will also be invited to do wine testing and match the wine with the food that will be eaten. Apart from the various activities that can be carried out, we can also buy wine from Hatten Wines Bali at a price that fits in the pocket. There is no charge for the entrance ticket to Hatten Wines, but for testing we will be charged a fee of 150 thousand rupiah for 6 different tests.

Beside "Two Islands" wine is Hatten wine the only drinkable local made offer in Indonesia. We have always a stop over on Bali to refill or we order online in Jakarta.

I haven't visited the place but I've tried the Aga wine. It's acidic, simple and flat. There's some kind a woody taste that is different that redeems it. I hope the other wines taste better to justify that 4.7 stars review.

Coincidentally saw this place when I about to go to Sanur beach. Hatten wine has been one of the famous local winery from Bali and this was their showroom. This place is quite close with their winery, but unfortunately the winery was still closed for public visit since they were having a renovation.

As a beginner in wine, the shop assistant was very kind to explain various wine that they have in place. They also have wine tasting package where they will serve some of their best seller wines before you buy the full bottle.

They also let me taste their special dessert wine that apparently only served on special occasion - thank you very much btw! Overall very good place to buy a local wine when you are in Bali. They also sell many types of glass wine of you're interested.

Folks, Never buy Hatten wine, it is a really low quality product, a fancy label makes them rip you, don't waste your money and catch a headache, I already made the mistake.

Jangan hanya ke winery di sanur, tapi mampir ke vineyard hatten di Buleleng.vineyard kelas international, worth it kalau sedang di bali utara, belajar banyak tentang hatten wine.

I tried a few of their wines and they were quite good considering Bali's reputation for wine production is still growing. The store is beautifully decorated and air conditioned. Worthwhile stop between Sanur & Kuta.

Had very fun experience in Hatten Wines testing most of the product range. The products considered cheap/fair priced. My fav were Pino de Bali, Dragonfly Moscato, and Two Islands Shiraz. Went here twice during my visit in Bali, bought 4 bottles in total.

Free wine testing, cool staff, they have varieties of wine, they are not pushy to sell their wine.definitely will order wine from them for my party in Bali!

Well worth a visit if you like wine but not exorbitant prices.

The best wine in Bali the wine tasting area is absolutely beautiful and the staff are very helpful and ver knowledgeable, time well spent.

Good Balinese wines and you can get a free tasting. Souvenirs and the wines are expensive though.
