We had an amazing meal here. The chef was incredibly accommodating and prepared course after course of delicious food. I wish I could get a meal like this back home. We will definitely be back

This place was a cute little intimate place (chef’s home) on his rooftop!
Food was 5 star! We had the 5 course meal and every course was fresh, intriguing, cooked to perfection and totally satisfied our palates! You will not be disappointed.
The food was amazing!
The service was friendly and waiting for meals was minimal given the rooftop had a few patrons. We didn’t know it was BYO and they don’t serve alcohol but that did not detract from our lovely dinner!

Every dish was amazing. Omakaze is a different experience everyone should have. Lisa was so lovely and helpful about foods. Atmosphere and decoration is very cool, there ara only 3 tables. The chef is very talented, and also very kind. If I knew there was a gem like here before, I would come everyday. Definitely MUST place!

We had an amazing experience here. We tried the chefs taster menu and absolutely loved every course. It’s halal, and the couple who own this restaurant are so kind and friendly. It’s also a beautiful setting, and very romantic!

Omakase style, so the chef picks the food for you depending on what is available, but the whole experience was different from a regular restaurant and totally worthed it for a try!

Saya dan istri memesan potterhouse steak 500gr dan mushroom cream soup. Dan rasa keduanya benar-benar luar biasa. Steaknya juicy, dengan tambahan saus mushroom dan japanese style memberikan cita rasa tambahan yang super. Untuk mushroom creamsoupnya cocok dijadikan makanan pembuka. Saya dan istri akan kembali lagi kesini dan mencoba menu lainnya, terimakasih happy cow!

Such a delightful find, Chef Budiyono and his wife were most welcoming and showed great hospitality. The food was excellently done with attention to detail – some of us had dietary restrictions but they were happy to accommodate and switch things up accordingly. The staff were also very friendly, spoke fluent English, and made us feel like valued guests.

We went for the omakase set, which was very reasonably priced for the quality we got. They paced the dishes just nice, and made sure that all our needs were met.

We spoke to the couple briefly before we left and understand that they only accept 3 tables for reservation at any time because only Chef Budiyono and his wife cook the meals and they do not want to compromise on the quality. A respectable endeavour, given that it would be harder to bring in more revenue this way.

Situated rather deep in a residential area, these guys may be hard to reach and nigh impossible to come across by chance, so they depend highly on word of mouth to bring in customers. I myself was recommended by another friend who visited (who in turn was recommended by another), and the visit exceeded expectations. Please support them and spread the word – all the reviews here can't be wrong!

We had a really nice experience at this restaurant. Not only the stuff was friendly but also the food was delicious. In fact we never had a steak like that before. The location is also too beautiful. You will not regret coming here!

An absolute hidden gem! Private dining experience, the best tasting food in bali without a doubt. To anyone travelling to bali I recommend this homely, tree house, private dining experience.

The family are wonderful people, and the chef serves the best food with lovely music to accompany the asthetic. We have visited several times and never had any bad food, such a warm welcome every time we visit.

Only open 5pm-11pm, I would suggest booking a table as there are only 3 tables however they will make room for loyal customers.

Prices: vary from 75,000IDR - 1,000,000+IDR, the wagu is perfect everytime. I would recommend the chicken teriyaki bowl, a rice bowl with salad and tasty chicken, which is 75,000IDR.

Plenty of tasty meals that never dissapoint. Visit this restaurant, you will not regret it!

It doesn’t get much better than this. I have had the pleasure of dining all around bali and the world. Without a doubt I will never forget my experiences here. Me and my friend have dined here more times than we can count and have encountered perfection every time. Regardless of where you are staying in Bali it’s well worth the trip here. Make sure you book (they are busy for a reason).

Amazing secret rooftop dinner. Very romantic and peaceful. Rooftop is the chefs private home with the food top notch and could not get any better. The entree of truffle mushroom soup was 10/10 and the steak was cooked to perfection. Highly recommended and the best meal we had in Bali.

Discovered this home private dining experience. Chef Budi hosts only 3 tables each night at his house roof top garden.
We had the omakase menu that he recommended which was a 5 course dinner for just under 1m IDR. I was most pleasantly surprised. Every course was unexpectedly good.
First up, the abalone appetizer was refreshing & delectable.
A creamy mushroom soup followed.
Next, the salmon was perfectly cooked with the Chef’s own secret recipe the sauce. It was absolutely delicious.
The steak was the only blemish - I asked for medium but it came medium well instead. Still it was tender with the right amount of seasoning. Accompanying the steak was sea salt, crispy garlic bits, a soy sesame oil dip and mushroom sauce.
For dessert, it was a mango & avocado compote.
The service was excellent.
Key thing to remember is - it’s cash only. Chef Budi does not have any alcohol but you’re welcome to BYO.

Full of surprises, that's the right word for this hidden gem. At first we were uncertain since they're located at a housing village, and they're indeed located at the Chef's house. But boy, he made a humble yet privately tucked-in roof deck to serve people here. We decided to go for an Omakase since we didn't know what to expect, and I can genuinely say that it was one of the best course we've ever had. The service was excellent also! I'll definitely come again when I visit Bali, and please don't change the recipe for your Mushroom Soup, I still can't get over it!

As all the others say: hidden gem. Beautiful secret roof terrace/garden with only 3 tables! Very home- and family-feeling. The owner cooks with his wife, incredible quality food, amazing taste, with an outstanding value for price. A very interesting concept: Bring your own alcohol (wine, beer, whatever you like) and drink it there "for free", they provide the glases - i love it! Thank you so much for this amazing fine dining evening, we loved it!

Stumbled across this restaurant looking for a halal steak. Wow what a find. A family run business that’s cosy and amazing in quality. From the service to the food it was all spot on. One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Bali.

Firstly, the picture was not that good and it looked much better in real life. We got a complimentary truffle and mushroom soup starter which was excellent. We got the California roll, which was also excellent. Then we got the 750g Porterhouse steak which was divine. The best steak I have ever had. Considering quality of the food, the price is very reasonable! Our server also had a great personality and was very friendly.

A humble eatery run and managed by husband and wife duo serving beyond amazing dishes. We were pleasantly served by their attentive staff during dinner time and come back full to the brim by an endless complimentary side dishes. Can’t wait to go back and try their other dishes.
