Gymnasium Bali

Great gym, cool vibe and excellent equipment and staff! Me and my partner joined for 2 months and we loved it. Highly recommend

Completely modern, machines that seem to have come out of their packaging yesterday. Excellent lighting, with LED lights that make it have a unique style, between dark and bright, it looks like a bar. It's a pleasure to train there. Although the cost of one day seemed high to me (240,000rph) I would pay it again to have a quality gym.
Another plus is that the treadmills face the window where the sun shines strongly, but it has curtains that prevent the sun from entering so it doesn't feel like you are running with the powerful Bali sun on your face. Excellent
They also give towels during the day.
What I would add is signage to get to the gym because there is none and it is easy to get lost.

I think it's true that Gymnasium is the best gym in Ubud, but I haven't been in others yet. I usually visiting before 12: 00 and after 15: 00 and there is not so many people.

-1 star because the guy who sell me membership tried to get extra ~500k from me two times (2 times i've purchased 2 week membership). Maybe you need to better inform your staff about prices.

Gym and amenities are really nice but they definitely know who their customer base is. Pretty pricy for a day pass and sauna access. Bali pricy that is.

Gym part was as advertised but downstairs spa area was horrible. Cold plunge was not cold at all, on instagram it’s promoted as ice bath but the real temperature will be about 15° with dirty water and dead insects in it.
Staff is playing on the phone on the couches for customers.
I shared the experience with the management but they told me “next time pay just for the gym”

As someone who competes in bodybuilding competitions I am always on the look out for new gyms, ones that leave a lasting memory. Gymnasium definitely delivered the goods, in an amazing location this fresh feeling premium level gym delivers the goods (and is well supported by sauna. Bali (located downstairs). Upstairs you have everything you need from free weights.c squat racks, smith machines, a selection of matrix pin loaded machines, and a wide variety of cardio machines with an amazing view.

The facility also provides a kiosk/canteen who can supply you with supps, a protein cookie and even a protein smoothie.

Staff were wonderful and at a cost of just over 250k (approx 350k if you add in the sauna. Bali) this gym offers a great premium experience.

Very nice and modern gym. The training equipment is all up to date. The gym is also very clean and all the equipment you need for training is there. There is even a kitchen where you can order protein shakes and other protein meals. I've never seen that in any gym before, so I felt right comfortable here. In any case, I can recommend this gym to everyone.

Very pretty and comfortable gym, and great facility for training. The staff are lovely, and it has a pleasant vibe about it. Easily the most expensive gym I have ever been to, but I think that it was worth it.

The gym is stylish and is equipped with everything that you expect in a Globo Gym.
They definitely miss out on small weight plates though. All people who were lifting at the time had to share 1 pair of 2,5kg and 1 pair of 1,5kg plates.
It seems to be a mainly Russian community there.

The day pass (245k) seems to be pricy, compared to other gyms.

Brand new equipment from the USA. Plenty of space; no crowding between machines. Cool community of athletic people. Friendly staff and clean design.

Everything is still NEW. It's a huge space with cardio on the left side of the entrance. Great new machines. Free weights and cross fit area located downstairs and still expanding. They offer many cool classes in the morning, ask staff for the schedule!

Desi is always super friendly and professional. She is a good communicator and is very helpful.
