A fine hotel where there is what you need but not much more.

The room smelled a lot of chemicals (possibly insect poison) and it was a bit unpleasant, but it was quickly forgotten.

The place is a little outside the center of Ubud, so you are not disturbed by traffic noise and live music when you go to bed.

The restaurant could offer plenty of food, but unfortunately not of particularly high quality.
I ordered their "special" dish with duck and was quite disappointed when I got a very thin half duck which had been in the fryer for far too long, which resulted in it being very dry and tasting burnt.
My recommendation is to find another place to eat if you have the opportunity.
The service in the restaurant can also be much better, especially one of the employees was more occupied with her mobile phone than the guests and it seemed that she would rather be out singing karaoke with her friends.

We forgot our mobile charger when we checked out.
We contacted the hotel about this and they had found it and would keep it for us if we would come by Ubud again as our trip was only on the 2nd week of 4 weeks in Bali.

When we came back 2 weeks later, to pick up the charger, they had a bit of difficulty finding it and it could indicate that it had just become inventory for use at the reception and was now missing the clip that could keep the cable coiled up.

All in all, a nice place to sleep if that's the only thing you need the place for.

This little gem has great potential, lots of charm, slightly hidden rooms, quiet. The setting is magical on the banks of the river and rice fields, postcard decor. A few points for improvement: the maintenance leaves something to be desired, the cleaning too and the breakfasts are average. But overall, a very nice find!

They demanded 10% of surcharge for paying by international credit cards. The price that you saw on the website is not available for you when you get there.

Staffs are gentle and friendly but electricity went out 3 times during 3 nights of stay. One of the night I had to be in a room without lights, AC and anything for 3 hours.
Canopy was too dusty with so much dead bugs on. Bed was so smelly. I got constantly cough during the stay.

When it rains, you will see your roof will be rainy too and ruin yours belongs. I had to throw away some of my cloths because they got wet by smelly roof filtered rain during rainy night.
I'll never stay in this hotel even someone pay me 10,000 USD for a night. Horrible experience.

Pleasant villa. Definitely NOT a private place) there is not a single cutlery in the kitchen, no gas, no microwave

Hotel room and pool were quite dingy.staff was very friendly.
We paid 200,000 rupia per night for a baby cot, which in our opinion is completely overpriced.

This is a restuarant that is part of the ville mgt. Service was good but ambience can be better with maybe fans as the air was still and warm. Food was good and reasonable priced.

The trouble already started from the booking process, I should have seen the signs. I arrived at 730 pm on the check-in date. The receptionist said the room is ready. But when they escort us to the room in the villa, it was locked in by other occupants. Knocked to try to wake them but had no success. We asked for another room, but it wasn't ready, and we had to wait for another good 30 minutes to get to the room, I can have the room for two nights
Tired and hungry, we ordered some dinner. The food was terrible, they had prepacked popcorn chicken served with sambal. Goodness.
Wifi is terrible here, terribly slow.
No safe deposit to keep your valuables

The ultimate disappointment was when they shifted us to another room which is in a horrible state, smell of humid and dirty. No shower and the bathtub is full of green moss. It must be slippery. It's an accident waiting to happen there.
The ceiling is made from bamboo weaving that has seen its better days, it is unhygienic with all dust gathered all these years.
The shared pool is equally terrible, the water is dirty green colour water vs the pool in the first room we stayed in (in pic for comparison)
The manager is nowhere present, they have the waiter to handle everything, and she has no authority over anything.
We were left with a "take it or leave it" situation. So we left. We checked out after 2 nights stay of 8 booked.
The location is off the main road, you need a mode of transport and yet they have no parking space for your car if you have a rental car.

Overall experience was horrible. The property is already rundown, would blame it on covid. Whatever pics online are deceiving. Trust me. I would never recommend this property to anyone.

This place was perfect in every way. Staff couldn’t do enough and the room was so peaceful. I’m so grateful to of found this place. Highly recommend.

My favorite hotel in Ubud. Close to the center in the most beautiful area. The staff is amazing. Everything is perfect.

A nice hotel with balinese living concept, nice location nearby Ubud. Friendly stuff and people.

Lovely family run property south of ubud. If you want to dive into balinese culture this is the right place for you. Shuttle service to ubud centre and you also can ask the helpful staff for bikes and Walking tour recommendations. Wayan takes you around the island to see temples and beautiful places with good background Information.
