We went here on the recommendation of other Spaniards. They told us that it was much less crowded than Tirta Empul and the truth is that they were not wrong. The first half hour we were alone, and then there were barely 20 of us. The place is beautiful, really. You can do the water ritual, but we had a problem. We paid the 30K entrance fee, and when we wanted to do the ritual they told us that we had to go to a man so that he could prepare the offering for us and he would explain it to us (with a donation). When we finished and were about to get into the water, we gave him the donation and he insisted that we had to pay him a fixed price of 30K. Until that moment he barely spoke English, but just when it was time to talk about money.the usual. He told us this in a bad way and we explained to him that a donation is a donation (nowhere did it say 30K), and we had practically given him the price of the ticket, but he wanted more. When we didn't give him more, he took our offerings, said something that we obviously didn't understand, and threw them on the ground. Well, the gesture is a bit ugly, really. We were left with a strange body, but hey, we entered the water, we did the ritual, and now we will see what bad luck awaits us.

Magnificent and calming temple with splendid vegetation! Quiet and soothing place. Very few tourists.

The temple is worth visiting. It has the same concept as the most famous Gunung Kawi, that is, the one near Tirta Empul, but it is much less crowded and therefore truly pleasant to visit.

An indescribable emotion. We arrived quite early in the morning and there were only us and one other couple.
It's not very big, so you can visit it in a short time, but it's really nice. Less touristy than nearby Tirta Empul but precisely for this reason more intimate and spiritual.

A little frequented temple built on a sacred spring in lush vegetation. A peaceful and spiritual place with its pools for sacred bathing. A pool for men, a pool for women and the 3rd pool for pregnant women and children. Must wear sarong.

We arrived here by mistake, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Beautiful temple with ponds and pools.

Compared to the other water temples in bali it’s not that’s impressive but alone its fine.non hindus can go into most of the areas. 20k per person for Indonesian/KITAS holders.plenty of parking and food and coffee shops are around the area.of course, ya gotta feed the fish; they’re crazy greedy.look at this mouths.

There is a lot of temple in Bali. From small modest temple every family must have up to 3 big temples in every village not to mention other fungsional temples built in the river sides and deltas, in the sea, in the forrest, in every crossroad, etc. No wonder Bali has a nickname of the Island of Thousands Temples because temple is indeed everywhere.
One of that many which is located in country side in the village of Sebatu is the temple of Gunung Kawi Sebatu name with the name of the village to different it from the temple of the same name in the other village. The speciality of this temple which is built in the 11th century is that it has sacred bathing place that used by either local people or the outside pelerinages to the place to clean their bodies and soul in the purification ceremony.
This world where you live in is considered not only bring you benefit to live but also leave you dirty and poluted phisically and mentaly.
After taking holy bath on the available fountains and praying in the temple, it is hoped that you will have not only clean body phisically, regain energy but also have a peaceful and healthy mental spiritually. This is done once in six month or twice a year if time and space allowed.
And as of the tourists which are visiting the place, it's a beautiful and peaceful place not only to visit, provide they conform to the local rules and regulations, they are of cause allowed by the locals, if they would, to join in the sacred bathing to endevour a new fresh live in the future.

A very calm Pura especially for those who like meditation. A little expensive outside (5.000 idr for parking and they asked me a tremendous price for a Kopi Bali). The entry fee is ok to keep this wonderful place in shape and order. The place is a little bit away from the standard tourist places so it is not overrun. Take your time to enjoy the Karma of this place. There are such details which are created with passion
It is worth to continue this small road to Tampa Springs to enjoy the natural scenery

Saya sangat suka udara sejuk bangunan pura sangat klasik dan kuno tempat pakir luas permandian umum sangat bening pancuran banyak dan laki perempuan di bedakan

A small but very nice and quiet hindu temple and bath. It's cheaper, much less touristy and also much more serene and mystical than the larger and more famous Tirta Empul Temple. It is mandatory to wear a sarong here but you can rent one at the temple free of charge. Highly recommend.

I like this temple for the fact that it’s not too touristy and crowded with tourists. I was informed by my driver that this temple is less frequented by tourists, but it’s beautiful temple nonetheless. There’s a pavilion in the compound of the temple, which allows you to sit by the pond and ponder away.

Beautiful place yet really too expensive (30k pp), parking 2k, toilet 2k, swimming 1k (full of loud local kids who were just using it as a swimming pool), glass donation boxes everywhere and the man from the toilet moving from one to another box, sarong compulsary, no kind people. It's enough to see it from the road really.

Very old temple which is carved on to a cliff side in the middle of a rice field area.
Unique experience.
