Guna Kaya Homestay

What can I wish more? Great location. Very nice team and the homestay is great. Reading some of the reviews confuses me… it’s a Home stay. Not a 5star hotel. So don’t compare in that way. The best home stay I was in Sanur. Better than a lot of many stars hotels A place I will call home….

Very impressive, classic Balinese style residence, at an incredible price, and close to Mushroom Bay waterfront and restaurants.

Great value accommodation a couple of streets back from the beach. Great location for restaurants and looking around Sanur. Wonderful staff and very well managed, very clean

Stayed at Gunanakaya for a few days whilst in Sanur recently. Lovely clean, good sized rooms, great staff and good location. Would definitely stay there again.

I don't like sharing this place as it suits me just fine. Then others will know about it.

We stayed 3 nights at Guna Kaya Homestay:
- booking: on the booking site very practical and the host sent us a taxi to the airport when we arrived it was very practical you just have to ask and it costs money.
- the bedroom: very comfortable bed (we like it when it's firm), air conditioning, clean with storage and a TV. Private terrace with deckchair. Mini kitchen area with fridge. Bathroom ok. Cleaned every day.
- swimming pool: wonderful
- breakfast: 4 choices, continental, English, American and Indonesian. All very good except the continental too light so choose the others. Big up to the scramble eggs so good yummy! The server is so cute, we love him!
- location: 5 minutes walk from the seaside too good
- general atmosphere: a little noisy in the morning with dogs barking but earplugs are your friends! The staff is very kind! Don’t hesitate to ask for drinking water when you run out.
Very good value for money!

Very good service and location. The rooms are very dated: bathroom and kitchen area especially.

Lovely renovated rooms and bathrooms with verrandah and pool or garden outlook. Quiet yet well located near main road and short walk to beach path and lots of restaurants. Pool is small but adequate. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful - I was a female travelling by myself and they didn’t intrude but were always there if you needed help with anything. Affordable. Will stay again

Fabulous place. Central location for EVERYTHING! Quiet, large rooms and bathrooms with patios. Didn’t get to use the pool but was very clean and inviting. Definitely be back to stay again. Thanks

GUNAKAYA HOMESTAY is a truly exceptional place! Housed in a tropical garden the place is very quiet and very close to the beach! The staff is always available, open and very nice. The accommodations are very modern, functional and always very clean!

Super Lovely place - very Nice staff!

My bagage never arrived at the airport, and i couldn't get in contact with the bagage-center. A young employee, whose english was flawless, helped me reach out for so long. While it didn't help, the effort was FAR more than i would ever expect. No hotel employee in Denmark would ever have done so much!

The beds, breakfast and facilities are also perfect. Lots of shade at the pool, so it can get a bit cold, but overall very enjoyable for relaxing and reading a book.
