An old lady who looks an owner is very unkind while taking an order and checking a bill. Even when I claimed some items we didn't order in the bill, I didn't hear any sorry about their mistake: (

Makanan enak, tapi staff yang cewek yg sudah tua itu pelayanannya lebih buruk dari warung makan or warung lalapan.

Everything we ordered was delicious. Waiters could be more attentive, but this didn't spoil the lovely experience we had there.

Absolutely awful. We ordered two items and neither came out right. Thankfully they let us cancel the orders as we didn't even eat a single bite. You would think you can't mess up sticky rice, but it came out undercooked even though we were the only ones in the restaurant.

Fly stuck to my xiaolongbao, sticky rice was cold in the center. Only positive is that there's AC. AVOID.

Really worth a visit.
More expensive than other eateries but in my opinion (after only a week in Ubud), worth the money.
The only gripe I have (as is the same with many Chinese restaurants) is the main food comes out way before the rice/noodles - so if you wanted to eat your sizzling whatever with rice, you will have to wait 5 min after your main has arrived.
We did ask for them all to come together…

Sorry but the food is terrible, the service is impolite her name is Jero. Saya order all u can eat dimsum, dimsumnya yg enak hanya wontonnya saja, selebihnya bau dan rasanya biasa saja, lalu pesan Gui ling gaonya juga lebih getir dari yang biasanya, lalu pesan lagi nasi hainan dan roasted chicken, so terrible, the chicken so fatty, lemaknya tebal2 masih putih dan amis sekali, buat saya pecinta ayam, ayam terlebih roasted chicken, benar-benar sangat kecewa karna pernandingan lemaknya 65 persen dibanding daging ayamnya sendiri dan masih sangat amis untuk range harga sangat tidak sesuai harga dan kualitas

Spacious restaurant with great ambience. Staffs were really friendly and helpful. Food was okay and slightly on expensive side. Parking space is inadequate.

Great cantonese food. Peking duck is surprisingly nice, meat (secondary) cooked with ginger and spring onion, was really a right pick.

Delicious Chinese food in ubud. Likely the best for Chinese dining. A bit pricy… so for budget people that’s nothing.

Very good Chinese Food! Only giving four stars because while the quality is good it’s no better than the Warungs nearby and it’s 2-3 times the price. Don’t get the beef dishes as the meat was fatty and tough but a very good king pao experience. The Pandon Buns are a great dessert, and the interior is really lovely red and gold.

This is a great chinese food restaurant in middle of Ubud. I love the decoration so Orientals. The staff really friendly, i came around 5: 45pm with no reservations, but he still allowed me to have dinner even only 1 hour which enough for me because they cook really fast.
About the food
We had the BBQ combinations which I like the most the roast pork, the skin so cruncy. The bbq pork and roast duck both good quality less fat and more meat.
Chicken honey, my kids love it, not too sweet and taste good.
Hot plate Tofu, the Tofu bit plain but the minced pork make good combination.
Pork sweet n sour this is my favorite, recommended if you like sweet food.
Spicy Honey Ribs is the best food from what I've had. It's tender and juicy and not hard to cut and chew.
The soup we have corn crab soup, not fishy and taste good, not just any regular corn crab soup.

For the price is not too expensive compare to the size from what we got.
If you compare some Chinese food in jakarta same price but smaller portion.

Love it, we will come back again if we come to Ubud.

The only negative no parking around here so make sure someone drop you off.

The restaurant not respected with driver online as me I'm driver grab the asking waiting out side. Any way out side not place to waiting hot

Me and my friends have ordered numerous menu of this authentic Chinese Restaurant, either in Canggu or Ubud outlet, all was awesome.
We had a great dining experience and ordered through Ojol (Ojek Online).

Baru pertama kali mencoba restaurant ini karna diajak oleh temen, semua makanan yg disajikan surprisingly sangat enak dan nikmat, tanpa kekurangan apapun. Kami pesan banyak makanan yang bisa dibagi satu sama lain. Porsinya pun cukup banyak dan pilihan makanannya sangat beragam.

The dining concept was wonderful, it was luxurious Chinese elements and decoration. Staff spoke English fluently and very friendly. Each food that we have ordered just so delicious

The all you can eat is great value! But the stuff is kinda rude and the food overpriced if you order ala carte!

Great ambience and reasonable price for a Chinese resto. We ordered xiao long bao, special fried rice, and BBQ Platter. Food was delicious. The Chinese tea was great.

Took my parents yesterday, the food was excellent. Friendly and helpful staff, the waitress also friendly and informative about menu. Golden Monkey Ubud has it all.

Jarang-jarang banget ketemu Chinese resto se authentic ini di Bali, apalagi di Ubud. Makananya semuanya enak, pelayanan sangat ramah, restaurant bersih dan sangat nyaman. Next bakal kesini sama keluarga.
