9 years later we came back to see Febri our hostess.
Obviously Sidemen has changed a lot but this place is still magical and the family staff always take care of us.
We took full advantage of our bungalow with a view of the beautiful infinity pool in a wooded and beautifully flowered garden.
The new café-restaurant “9: 00 am” not only offers the best cappuccino around, but also excellent Indonesian cuisine with a breathtaking view of Mount Agung.
We get good advice on places to visit or book lots of activities.
Thanks to Febri, Ayu and the whole team for the little surprise birthday party for Christiane.
We had a wonderful week.

Very pretty rooms in the heart of the Balinese countryside. Very welcoming team and excellent lunch

Value for money, but not somewhere I would stay for more than two days. We have been to many places in Indonesia/Bali, and have had many geckos in the room, but here we shared a room with one of the really big ones, which kept us awake all night. We were met with "so sorry", but no solution.

The same thing happened when we wanted to rent a scooter and taxi away from the place. No help available.

However, it gets three stars because of Sidemen itself, the pool, it was cheap and the breakfast was fine

A nice calm stay bit in the interiors of Sidemen.

Basic amenities: Had a comfy bed, there was no AC, they gave us a table fan, room was quite spacious, with lot of storage, we also had a sofa. Kind of an open shower, with hot water. They had Soap and Shampoo dispensers. And obv free WiFi.
Complimentary amenities: We were welcomed with a complimentary drink.
Service: Service was prompt.
Location: The stay is in bit of interiors of Sidemen. Sidemen being so non-touristy, it was nice and calm. The street where this stay is there are many good rated restaurants.
View: We had a nice verandah with 2 chairs and a table with a view of the pool and the garden. The stay has a well maintained garden with plants and flowers making it look lovely. You get a nice view of Mt. Agung from their restaurant.
Suggestions: The open bath feels bit uncomfortable, as I saw someone using a drone outside. The placement of soaps and shampoo in the shower is bit awkward.

Charming and well located hotel. The personnel is very professional.

Nice affordable place to stay near Sidemen.
Good area for walks along the ricefields.
Food is good and reasonably priced.
Could maybe more spicy but forgot to ask.
Good beds.
We had no mosquitos so did not need net.

You've just got to book. Superb in every aspect. Ville no. 1 the view is straight out of a travel vlog.

I got the best seated room, in the middle and the view is just stunning. The staff is super nice and helpful, just need to find the one speaking better English. Otherwise nice, clean and the food is very good. Definitely worth the price. Little paradise in Sidemen.

I guess we all have our absolute favourites, and this is mine. Beautiful and spacious rooms, stunning views from some of them and from the restaurant. Staff that are very endearing. Good restaurant options in the immediate vicinity. Love this place.

Highly recommend this gem of a place. The view of Mt Agung is breath taking, rooms and pool super clean and the staff helpful.the restaurant is really good and views from there to die for. 10/10 value for money we could stay here every year. Great place to base yourself to explore the East.

The location is perfect for those who’s looking for the tranquility & peacefulness. Stunning view.
Room is clean, but the light would be great with warm light.
The staff were friendly & helpful. Meals so yummy.highly recommended.

Unfortunately there’s now another building that’s partially blocking the view from the pool.
The rooms are open on top because the roof isn’t attached to the walls (see picture).

The people who work here and the owner will do anything to make sure that your time in Sidemen will be something special. Giri Carik has a pool with a stunning view and many restaurants in the neighborhood. Me and my husband will definitely stay here next time we come to Bali.
