Gili Gili Fast Boat

Crossing from Bali to Gili Air was a bit rough but tip top! Very professional team, friendly and helpful. Everything very well organized, even if it looks like chaos at the port. There is free water, cookies and air conditioning on the boat. Finally, a refreshing towel. I would travel with them again anytime. Safety is also a top priority. The older captain makes a very trustworthy impression).

The worst experience of my life on a boat. Their boat was small and I return from Gili air to Bali in the afternoon with rough seas it was a disaster. Huge waves, we kept going down and crashing for two hours with the staff laughing saying “notmal, normal, ”. I feared for my life so we were at the mercy of the sea with that boat. Furthermore, at one point they stopped because a piece of the engine had broken, but it has been replaced. I believe that in those sea conditions it would not have been the case to leave. In Italy such a thing would never have happened by our standard. I won't do anything with complimentary water and biscuits if you don't put me in a situation of tranquility and let me experience hours of terror that can even ruin your holiday. If you can avoid them.

The best transport company, they are friendly and know how to deal with a bad sea condition. I suggest to everyone to use them! Oh, they even offered a small bottle of water and a delicious cookie.

Our trip from Padang Bai to Gili T was pretty OK. Air co was working, they provide free water bottle, cookie and wet tissue for hands - that was nice. Staff was nice, boat was on time

It's not the best organization, it's not the most pleasant trip, but if I had to do it again I would take this company again.

Traveling so many kilometers at sea in such a short time, the trip will inevitably be eventful

Boat was on time and comfortable, nice staff. We were lucky with it being a smooth crossing!

Don't use Gili Gili, they will sell your seat to another company if you book beforehand, and in our case move you around to different boats or whatever is most convenient to them. They will not refund for "inconvenient changes" and will flat out ignore you if you try to talk to them about it. We paid for a larger air conditioned boat after a bad experience getting to gili air, and got stuck on a small little boat with no air conditioning at all that mafe us hours late for our connection on Bali. There are better services you can use, and often your hotel will be able to help you book with less stress.

Air-con worked, we got a little snack and water, the boat was fancy (definitely nicer than our trip with Golden Queen), and staff was nice. More pricey than other operators tho, we paid 800k for 2 people.

Trip over to Gili Air was great. Trip back was terrible. For some reason booked us on a terrible boat operated by someone else and our direct shuttle took us everywhere. Took 6 hours, not exactly fast.

We booked through Gili Gili Fastboat due to them having good reviews online - we went from Bali to Gili Air then back to Bali.

Only good point was that our hotel drop off and pick up went smoothly (included in the price) and the staff were friendly.

Our first leg Bali to Gili Air, we got told their boat wasn’t running so they put us on another boat ‘Ostina’ which was a company we purposely didn’t book through due to their reviews. Luckily the boat wasn’t too bad, but still hot and stuffy as they didn’t have the air con on.

Then on the way back from Gili Air to Bali, they told us get to the port for 9: 45 for our 10: 15 ferry for it to then change to 11am without warning. And even then it was still late.
They put us on a boat with a company called ‘Manta’ which again we avoided when booking as they had bad reviews.
The boat was horrendous, crammed in like sardines with no air con. Petrol fumes throughout the whole trip and the staff said we weren’t allowed to leave the doors open to let air through.
Such a let down from this company especially when we paid a lot more than other companies offering the same service!

We booked with this company for the reputation they had! They moved our booking to Ostina which we were avoiding! We were pressed on the boat. No air to breathe and very slow it took us 2h and 15 min, while other ferries departed after us and reached before us so the sea condition has nothing to do about that. The Gilis Trip became a nightmare.

Excellent experience with Gili Gili Fast Boat from Gili Air to Padang Bai. Cost 500000r pp. Only had to check in 30mins prior to departure which is much more reasonable than the larger boats which require 1hr checkin. The staff wear bright orange T-shirts so they’re easy to identify. The boat was on time, clean, comfortable and well air conditioned. The staff were friendly and efficient and explained everything well. We were given bottles of water and a chocolate biscuit when we set off and fresh chilled clean white face washers when approaching the destination. I found that charming and delightful, not having expected it at all! The trip from Gili Air takes about 1.5hrs. It’s not a big boat so of course there’s going to be some motion if dealing with rough seas. But it’s certainly not the captain’s fault, so if you’re queasy at sea you need to take the responsibility on yourself and take motion tablets or possibly a larger boat. But they did have sick bags in the seat pockets and everyone on our boat was fine. Although there were some excited squeals when we rode the occasional wave! We didn’t use the shuttle service so I can’t comment on that but the process was explained on board and it seemed clear to me.

Very disappointed in this company. I booked a ticket online, but it turned out they were not even operating yet. The price of the ticket was insanely high and I did not even get all my money back, even though this was a mistake on the companies side.

The boat have good service, good price for ticket, these shutlle can pick up from everywhere on Denpasar.

The boat broke down twice on the way to Gili T. They then kept waiting at Gili T for new passengers so left an hour late. Really crowded too.

Boat was overbooked so we were placed on another boat leaving half an hour later than anticipated. Then arrived two hours later than planned. Only thing stopping me from giving it one star was the hotel transfer was quick (excessive speeding helped) and relatively easy.

Verry recommended fast boat to gili islands.because giligili fast boat always give best service for you.

One of the quickest crossings to the Gili's. Remember to take a seasick tab if you're susceptible to motion sickness as you will bounce a lot during the crossing. For those with sealegs sit back and enjoy the trip.
