Genius Café Gianyar

Food is fantastic, peaceful ambience, nice place to hang out for lunch or dinner. The only thing I would suggest to improve is if people want some water with their meals, just give them some water, not some silly "deluxe mineral spring" branded water where a couple of sips costs the same as 2x aqua galons.

Unexpected lovely little oasis in Keramas - a different vibe than Sanur's Genius Café on the beach but equally charming. And delicious! The jumpy monkey drink was a surprising delight. I always avoid banana mixed with anything in a smoothie and let it stand alone as I always feels it overpowers anything else. Not so here. This was a rich layered delicacy with cacao and coffee sharing the spotlight. I shall have to try it again! Plus the happiest happy laughing Buddha statue I've ever seen welcoming and celebrating your arrival

Too bad for the disrespect of the other guests (nomadic worker on the telephone, customer who listens to his speaker without headphones, etc.). “Sea food” pasta with an unappealing and very “pedas” smell, very very little meat in the bolognese. Tapas and guacamole were pretty good, as were the pizzas. Very little choice of dessert, as is often the case in Bali, but the price is much higher than elsewhere. Pleasant garden, the air-conditioned dining area is appreciable.

The place is nice but food is overpriced. I asked the fruit platter and lady said I got passionfruit and mangosteen and I didn’t. I asked another lady, she said they don’t have it today. Quite disappointing cause thats why I order the fruit platter. Ice Coffee latte was bland as I don’t taste the coffee at all.

Best dishes and beauty area, enjoy the day and relax in this place. Highly recommended. Also good for working there!

Tasty food and many vegetarian option!

But the best part was the following: I came to the place being very tired and forgot my keys in the motorbike! Lucky me, the security officer saw this and hid the keys to prevent the bike from stealing. Later the waiter gave me my keys back. I am very grateful that the staff is doing their job so good and working as a perfect team.

The food is kind of disappointing.
My fish burger was a very old dry fish maybe 30gr, with ketchup topping some raw beetroot and a very dry old bread, I join now the toilet since I am home, thank you for that.
The falafel bowl was a bit better but the serve is kind of a starter, and the side, yea very basic.
The bill was close to 400 k, every warung will be better and you can invite the hole village for that price.
Join the place for a coffee or a coconut, I not will go there again, and I live in Bali for 5 years.
Shame on that tourist ripping off places.

Small portions and pretty over priced. They charged me almost 50 000 for 1/5 of an onion and a few limes.

Pelayanannya ramah, minumannya cukup cepat disajikan.tapi makanannya agak lama.
Setelah sering nongkrong di cafe/restoran dengan pemandangan alam terbuka, nongkrong di cafe/restoran yang pemandanganya taman sepertinya ada yang kurang.

This cafe/restaurant is one of two locations in Bali (the other is in Sanur). It is located at the entrance of Visions Villas. They have a wide selection of both Indonesian and western dishes. Also, it was quite relaxing walking around the property.

I'm currently on day 4 of staying at Vision Villa (the villa/resort affiliated with the restaurant), and I've eaten all of my meals here for the past four days. Quality food made with love and attention, good coffee, great service, good soundtrack, nice garden. Highly recommend their smashed potatoes, charcoal-bun chicken burgers, veggie quesadillas. Salads are very good but could be more filling. They offers lots of specials, like 2-for-1 happy hour 5-7 pm, or daily food specials.

Genius Gianyar has one of the best kitchens for fresh meals! Every plate/ bowl is an explosion of greens, herbs and colours really amazing specialty also in these difficult times. Try the vegetarian/ vegan variations they are top. The service is friendly and good informed, the place green and clean. The pizzas are -in my opinion- not up to this level and I don't understand why they are served here. They are just a crumbly base (sweet tasting!), with some unripe tomatoes and Mozzarella from the factory. We come again and again and,

Coffee is superb! They provide gluten and dairy free food, vegetarian and the coconut milk is super delicious. There are also burgers for meat lovers, fish and various choices of salad.

This place had amazing happy hour! Buy one get one free every day from 5pm-7pm. Have had multiple dishes and all of them were presented beautifully and tasted great! They take pride in what they make.

Perfect place and very good healthy food. Triana was friendly and efficient. I live in Bali since 9 years already and We would have just loved a smile and a hello from the owner we met at the entrance. We entramarkets! In the spirit of this coffee, it denotes flatly! Just a special remark also with the mayonnaise and ketchup served with our burger: in this healthy Cafe I would appreciate a homemade tartar sauce, not a chimik mayonnaise. In short, we came expressly from Canggu and we will come back with friends

Genius Cafe Gianyar is worth the short drive up when you come from Denpasar or Gianyar City/Padang Bay on Jl. Ida Bagus Mantra and are hungry! They serve the best, freshest and healthiest food near and far from here in a very nice, resort like environment. The service is effective and can answer your questions, the coffee is brewed on a proper machine and it is quite and relaxing. Genius is not cheap but the portions are generous and the drinks are cold. A unique experience in the otherwise rather deserted culinary scene of Gianyar! We hear that this is also a co-working space but we did not try this part of Genius. We come again!
