I went to Gaia for a colonic. It was a lovely experience- very clean and everyone involved from booking to the practitioner were so sweet and accommodating.

I had my colonic and great massage here during my fasting. The staff was very understanding and has a lot of experience. I really recommend Gaia Holistic Spa. Thank you)

I had my first ever colonic and it went very well. The nurse helped me feel safe and comfortable. She answered all my questions calmly and confidently. She also gave me a stomach massage during the process which really helped everything move smoothly. HIGHLY recommend.:) <3

Honestly at first I have a little bit doubt about detox stuffs, but since my skin discoloration and unexplained weight gain problem got worse, then I decided to give it a try what Gaia Holistic Center - Ubud - has offered (found it on their instagram page).
It should take 5 days of cleanse and detox program but couldn’t stay that long in Ubud so I need to finished it in 2 days.
And the result quite amazed me. Better sleep, feel lighter and more relax.

While staying at Gaia I decided to receive the colonic treatment at their holistic clinic. I have had many of these over the years and know how important is the sense of safety and care, as well as the actual training and professionalism of the therapist.

I was warmly greeted and the whole procedure was explained to me in depth, despite it not being my first time. My therapist kept checking in that I felt comfortable throughout. She assisted me with the most amazing belly massage which lasted for most of the colonic and I must say, things were flowing quite wonderfully.

I felt really well taken care of by someone who was qualified and informed and really considerate of my privacy and safety. Definitely recommend Gaia's clinic, whether it's your first time or not. It feels so good to leave much lighter!

This was my first colonic so i don't have anything to compare it with but I knew what to expect. I first filled out a form with health questions and my health history, but after giving it back to the nurse, she failed to review it, just left it at the front desk. Once in the room her explanation of the procedure was good and showed me what she would be using, but no questions about why I was having one, if I have any health issues like IBS etc. During the procedure she was caring and asked many times if i was alright and comfortable, which was reassuring being my first one. Afterwards she said she would be at reception where a probiotic tablet and warm water would be waiting for me. After getting dressed I went to reception where a young lad pointed to the glass, I sat and took the tablet. I waited 10 mins then asked the young lad where the nurse was, just to be told she has gone home. I was expecting a chat regarding my procedure and perhaps some "dos and dont's" for the next 24hrs. I wasn't told anything, not even given a pamphlet, just given the bill.
All in all the procedure went smoothly and the nurse was nice without, but I felt it lacked pre and post procedure consultation, hence my 3 star.

Very professional, spotlessly clean, reassuring nurse and the perfect way to assist me throughout my detox. I felt so much lighter and clear afterwards. Very clean, friendly and professional. My partner went here for his first colonic. The whole experience for him was top notch. The nurse performing the colonic was extremely professional, spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable with excellent advice. A great experience.

I was on my 6th day of a 7 day detox fast/cleanse when my naturopath suggested doing a colonic. After reading reviews of 2 other places in Ubud I decided against it until I checked out Gaia. Stopped in to ask tons of questions (never done one before), look at the facility, machine, etc. The 2 female staff spoke perfect English, were originally trained as nurses, and informative. So I booked for the next day. Worried slightly at the start but all was very professionally done, comfortable, clean, easy, and with great results (I'm sure my fast first was the key). So glad I did it. Amazing experience. Can't imagine why getting rid of all sorts of "stuff" stuck in your digestive system for years could be a bad thing. Fantastic. Highly recommend Gaia.
