Eden House B & B

Except for the fact that it is located in an alley where cars cannot enter (you have to walk 3-4 minutes to the main road), the cleanliness, owner's attitude, and breakfast were perfect. Since you have to go through the alley, it may feel dangerous if only women come here, but there are lights connected. If you call in advance, they say they will come to the entrance on a scooter and carry your luggage, so make sure to check.

The reviews don’t lie, we loved this place as much as all the other guests did. If I could take more time off, I would make Eden House my second home. The building is so beautiful, rooms squeaky clean, the balcony over looking the family temple is so peaceful, the team gives 1000%. Already recommended this place to family and friends and we look forward to their amazing stay!

Beautiful little home stay with peaceful surroundings. It's a little harder to get to and you'll need to walk or arrive by scooter, but it's worth it. It doesn't have a fridge or TV but the aircon works well and is quiet. A great place to explore the rice fields and kickback and read a book. Near by are lots of yoga retreats and small cafes for coffee (good coffee). Wayan and Kadek are welcoming, attentive and serve an amazing breakfast.

Wayan and Kadek's guesthouse is located, alongside many other large guesthouses, in the remaining rice fields in Ubud. From the roof terrace, where breakfast is freshly prepared by Kadek and served by Wayan, the view of the rice field in front of the house, the palm trees and the delicate flying lizards hunting on the palm trunks was very beautiful. The menu, from which the desired dishes must be selected one day in advance, includes both local and “international” dishes. A water dispenser is available in the breakfast area for guests to refill bottles to reduce plastic waste. Separate from the breakfast area there is a lounge area, which is partly covered and serves as a small retreat, as there is no corresponding area in the small garden. For the same reason, this guest house does not have a pool.
Our room was functionally furnished, very clean and quiet. Since our room, which also had a small balcony, was on the second floor, the view was good. On the ground floor, the two guest rooms are only suitable for sleeping, as it is also a small property. The two guest rooms on the first floor and especially those on the second floor are more recommended. The air conditioning worked perfectly. The beds were very good and we were always able to sleep well. Every day, after cleaning the guest rooms, numerous flowers were distributed, which was always very nice to see.
As already described by other guests, there is no refrigerator in the room and the path to the house, located directly on a stream, is very narrow and not accessible to cars. The road from which this path starts is already closed at its junction with the main road, so you have to walk around 200 m, initially uphill. The hosts will be happy to help you transport your luggage!
The Eden House Ubud is a very good accommodation for travelers who don't have high expectations and want to stay very well in the center of Ubud for little money and yet very quietly and be welcomed in a very friendly and familiar way.

This is a hotel with a witty and friendly owner and a great view.
It's good because it's in a location where you can walk to the palace, temples, and restaurants, but it's a bit disappointing that taxis can't park in front of the front door. However, it is quiet, has good access to downtown Ubud, and has a wonderful view.

We had a really wonderful stay at Eden House. The balcony is really relaxing with beautiful view of the surrounding nature, the room is so clean that when we walk barefoot, nothing sticks onto our feet. The family is so caring and kind that we felt we are at home. We look forward to returning to Eden House the next time we visit Ubud. Suksma

Fabulous hosts, great breakfast with a beautiful view and an excellent location in the centre of Ubud, but also with plenty of lovely hikes around.

Spectacular hotel for those who want to stay in Ubud but away from the hustle and bustle. Super friendly and attentive host. Very good rooms and very good breakfast.

Tidy and dry~~ bed, wide and clean~~ bathroom,
beautiful welcome flowers,
good location - 5 minutes to Ubud palace,
and most of all the most kind and humorous host Wayan!
Cars are not approachable but do not worry, Wayan is ready for u.

The hotel is situated in 5 minutes from the Campuhan ridge walk, moments from the centre of Ubud and in around 30 minutes from the Monkey Forest. Around, you will find many nice warungs and restaurants.

Rooms are spacious and exceptionally clean with terraces facing the rice field.

This place is the best to stay in Ubud, and we will definitely come again.

We had a great experience at Eden House. The room was very comfortable, clean, quiet and beautifully arranged. Views from the third floor over the rice paddies at the back and rooftops. A great breakfast was served on the rooftop deck each morning and Wayan was very friendly and helpful arranging our day trips. It is centrally located but very quiet as it is off the main road. There is a little walk (3-5 minutes) to get there unless you have a moped (no car access) but well worth it for the tranquility. I highly recommend staying here.

Such a lovely and heartwarming place to sleep. Indeed the place is somehow isolated and it will require you to walk for 3-5 minutes through a narrow road to reach the place, however it’s worth the effort! Mr. Wayang and Mrs. Kadek helped my husband and I to have comfortable nights during our honeymoon stay. They were always ready and gave their best to accommodate our needs. We told them that we needed to leave at early morning to go to Nusa Penida trip, and they provided us with ready-to-go breakfast, totally kind and considerate! Don’t hesitate if you want to stay here for 1-3 nights or even more, it offers you a spotless & spacious bedroom, comfy bed, fresh linen, warm-delicious breakfast, bathroom with bath tub with + hot water, and friendly staffs. Thankyouuu so much for the amazing hospitality! We will comeback again if we go to Ubud in the future! Please stay healthy always~?

Loved my stay at Eden House, location is great, central but super quiet, the room was clean, the view is amazing. Wayan was very helpful. The breakfast was the best! Definitely recommend this place and hope to come back.
The path to the hotel is narrow, only scooters can go, so keep that in mind. Give them a heads up if you need help with your luggage.

Large room with comfortable bed. Full size bathroom with a shower enclosure and a soaking tub. Lots of hot water. Floor to ceiling tinted windows with a sitting area outside the door. Nice touches like mosquito coils lit by the door outside at night and constant discreet sweeping of leaves and bugs from the tiles. Silent overnight. Only 6 rooms. Superb breakfast with fresh ingredients made to order. Helpful hosts with lots of suggestions for things to see in Ubud. A true oasis, close to everything with a rice field view.

The staff were wonderful, the breakfast was delicious, the room was very clean. By far the best place we stayed at in all of Bali! Couldn't recommend it enough!

The family is Amazing, one of the best stayed we had in Indonesia. The room is super clean, they take care of the cleaning on a daily basis, they arrange flowers in your room. It is just so nice to see how much effort they put in keeping the house so nice for all guests.
The food (breakfast) it is cooked in the same moment you wake up, everything fresh. It was so nice to start your day with a good meal:)

We loved it so much that we have extended our stay several times. It feels like you are leaving with a family and we made few friends during our stay as well.
The family helps you in case you have questions, you need laundry, renting a bike or even tours. They can advise you or help you.

Great place to stay for a couple of nights in Ubud, very clean friendly staff away from the confusion but still close enough to walk in case you want to. Not accessible to cars only scooter!

Loved my 4 nights stay in Eden House. The room I stayed in was very clean, comfortable and cozy. Wayan and Kadek are very welcoming hosts and the breakfast they prepare every morning is always delicious. The homestay is really close to the main road where you will find many restaurants and cafe. Eden House is also walking distance to Ubud Palace. If you need transport (including airport transfers) and tours arranged, just speak to Wayan and he is more than willing to help you out. I shall stay here again next time I visit Ubud.

I highly recommend this place if you are looking for the best homestay in Ubud.

Great hospitality! Kamar sangat bersih, semua linen dicuci dengan baik tidak ada bau apek sama sekali.
Semua sangat detail. Bahkan they give you 1 soft pillow and another firm pillow. Best detail!

Lokasi nya masuk kedalam gang. Lebih baik membawa motor agar bisa parkir di depan b&b tapi jika bawa mobil, pemilik mau membantu membawakan koper dari parkiran (di selatan b&b).

Banyak spot wisata disekitar penginapan. 10 menit berjalan kaki sudah sampai ke ubud market. Mini market juga dekat.

Overall it was very pleasant experience, sayang banget masukin itinerary cuman nginep 1 malam disini. Definitely will come back ketika ke Ubud
