Dolphin Beach Bali

Beautiful seaside location, breathtaking sunsets. Huge appartment, and very clean. Staff has invented the famous Balinese smile, so helpful, even fabricated beautiful Balinese kite with our boys, tought them to fly it, and eventually gave it to them as a parting gift. Good hot/cold setting of shower needs some patience…

I loved it here and staff were very nice and accommodating. Place very clean and spacious! Food was also good.

Great place to stay on the north coast of Bali, after a fascinating drive from Ubud though the centre of the island to Lovina. Dolphin Beach is a small boutique hotel right on the beach with great personal service, good breakfast and a lovely pool. We had a fabulous upstairs room looking over the sea and gardens, well furnished and good cooking facilities. There were not many warungs open nearby so it was convenient for us to cook our own evening meals. The hotel's guest vehicle was not operating but we called a local taxi to go exploring the market and village

Fabulous beachfront place to relax on the balcony and watch the boats, fishermen and locals go about their daily life or walk on the beach. The apartment was huge and very clean, the breakfasts delicious and big portions. Staff are super helpful and friendly; just ask for anything you need and they assist with a smile. We were dropped into central Lovina and picked up several times, set up with extra beds in the apartment and helped to get an early morning boat to chase dolphins (saw plenty!) as well as rent motorcycles. So glad I’ve found somewhere in Lovina to return to. Thanks for a great stay

My family stayed here on our last leg of our Indonesian tour. We came from the States, and to perfectly honest had absolutely no expectations. That was a mistake, because this place was perfect. We had the two penthouse apartments and they were incredibly large and extremely satisfying. The deck was our nightly hangout as we unwound from the day.
As far as the staff.they took care of us.great food, the daughters had ice cream shakes every day. Just top notch service.

I would highly recommend the Dolphin Beach apartments as a safe, relaxing, affordable stay in Lovina. Really enjoyed our time there in late June.

What an awesome place to stay in the north of Bali!
Rooms are very spacious, clean and serviced daily and such a great location direct on the beach.
The staff were even better again! No request was too hard and always had a welcoming smile. They went out of their way to make our five day stay a memorable experience.
Thank you to all and we will definitely stay there every time in the future!

Very spacious, comfortable and clean rooms. Fabulous beach front location with view and direct access onto the beach and sea. Staff are friendly and the hotel has a free shuttle bus into the town centre.

Has been a lovely place however with the death of the Australia couple who manged the place it will be interesting to see what happens. It did not help matters that shortly after that the Australian guy who put up the money for the place got sent to prison in America.

Nice place, friendly staff beach covered in rubbish which unfortunately Bali does not have infrastructure to deal with.

Massive rooms. Like 1 bedroom apartments. Stayed in Penthouse 2. Great balcony and drive toy on the ocean.

Small property, right on beach, opposite coral reefs, good food, very big rooms, very comfortable, very small pool

This wasn't the worst hotel we've been in but the stay could have been better. The resort looked older but mostly clean. A big advantage was that it has direct access to the beach. It is quiet and relaxing and about a 20 minutes walk to the center of Lovina. During our stay, the free shuttle to Lovina center only ran once a day. If you arrive late, you will not have any option but to eat at their restaurant (Darcy's). The food at Darcy's was mediocre at best.

Our room had a constant annoying ticking sound when we used hot water. The hot water ran out fast when our next door neighbor was also showering.

We had an incident with the driver the hotel hired for us. The hotel staff quoted a price for the drive to get us to Sanur but when the driver arrived, he increased the price by 25% last minute so we had no other option. He cost us $75 CAD and kept skipping the stops we wanted to sight see. I highly recommend you find your own driver from Tripadvisor other than relying on this hotel.

For the price we paid, we had much better experiences at the other 3 hotels in Bali. I have reservation recommending his hotel to others.

Been here for 4 days (I think), food is great, a selection of Indonesian and Western dishes available at virtually any time. If you like you holiday to be quiet and relaxed, this is the place.the rooms as you would expect are beautifully furnished and serviced daily (new pillow slips daily!). There is Darcy's next door for a more formal meal, but lazing around the pool or playing pool, listening to music or watch DVD's it's all here.
A great jumping off point for Dolphin watching, sailing, snorkeling around the nearby coral reef or one of the many Dive experiences to be had in the north of Bali.
Anyone who has visited Bali knows that the locals cannot help themselves when it comes to being of SERVICE. Everything is done simply with ease and a beautiful smile here. The staff at Dolphin Beach Apartments have provided everything we have asked for.just brilliant! 10/10.
