7Like dolphin and whale, if you have one day, will not enough time to go down there. If stay overnight at Nusa Penida then can go down to feel the bay.
We went there around 5: 30 pm to watch the sunset from there. There was only one other couple there besides us, so it was very quiet. We were able to see a lot of dolphins that were in the bay and also jumped. We also saw a manta ray. The sunset afterwards was also great. If you have time left on Nusa Penida you should definitely go there!
The road here takes more than an hour, no matter where you are from! The road is full of potholes, tires and tubes burst. Even if you go there, you will see people going back with sad faces. Let's get back to the topic. Somewhere 500 meters before the end of the road some dubious people will run out onto the road and shout “give me 11,000 rupees for the fare”! The problem is not the money, but their form of communication. In an arrogant and disrespectful manner. In fact, there is nothing to see there. You cannot swim there. The waves are always strong. And there is nowhere to swim there except a 2x2 meter bath. I traveled all over Bali, Lembangang, but only here I encountered such an unpleasant situation.
It takes an hour to drive off-road to get around these three supposed beaches in 2 minutes. It’s 70 meters from the place where the cashier supposedly stands to these places, and from the parking lot for money it’s more than 500 meters on foot. This turned out to be the case later. I left my bike at the kiosk in front of the entrance and walked for free and watched as people walked for a long time from the parking lot. Also, everything is lying very DIRTY on the ground, including plastic and hundreds of cigarette butts on the ground. One single sad toilet.
If you ask me? ! Would I go again? NO. NOTHING TO DO THERE AND NOTHING TO SEE. The Devil's Tear on Lembangang Island is much more spectacular and beautiful.
Unfortunately I can't give zero stars. I give it one star. Thanks and follow up.
Path is easy to miss, we enjoyed the sunset and were able to see the dolphins especially between 5pm-5: 30pm.
Nusa Penida has a very beautiful beach, after snorkeling I recommend having lunch at Holy Penida, a restaurant with good food, cheap prices, Strategic place close to Bout snorkeling port,
Caught dolphins here and snorkeling with them. Really nice experience. But of course we were lucky.
Beautiful place to do snorkeling. Corals are just great. The blue is deep. I have to say that we have been surprised by the water temperature, lightly cold, but the reefs are so nice. A place to see and where to go by boat. Very good place to see Manta rays if you are lucky.
