Stayed in Kuta for a little over two weeks. This place felt like my home away from home.
The entire staff was nothing short of impeccable and more than kind. I was sad to go but my spirit says I'll be back one day.

Oh, and the mie goreng.

Big difference in their air-conditioned rooms vs.their non-air conditioned rooms. The price is the same so make sure to book the one with air conditioning. I booked the one without unfortunately so I stayed in a room that didn't have walls right next to the pool so you could hear their conversations clearly, they provide a tiny fan but that does nothing to help with the humid heat, their mosquito net curtains need a good wash with bleach because they had mold on them, and if you are on the top bunk than the curtain is less than a foot from your face so you are breathing in the mold. Spiders live in the corner and cracks of the curtains as well, and the light is right in your face if you are by the light on the top bunk, the light stays on all night, and the wifi is the worst, only in the main hangout areas is it strong. I got diarrhea immediately after having their free dinner which was rice, boiled cabbage, and tofu. I can't tell if it was from the food or from the dirty communal dishes which everyone is required to wash themselves after use. I'm guessing maybe someone didn't properly clean the dishes, or it was the sink water which they used to rinse it. Pool looked green one day and after they put in chemicals it went back to normal color but I didn't want to swim in it after that. Location isn't the best, nothing really in the area.

Arrived here from the airport close to midnight, they didn't have my reservation on record even though I booked online hours before arrival. I had to show my confirmation and which bed type I was in. They walked me up to the room where I was staying and pointed to a bed and walked away. The bed they gave me had a sheet in a wad which was clearly used, trash on the bed, and a sock. Clearly the bed wasn't cleaned but I was so tired I didn't care and slept in someone elses body sweat. I stayed one more night and moved to the air-conditioned room to try their free dinner that night and give the hostel a chance since I arrived close to midnight. Although the air conditioned room got cold, the wifi was worse.

People there are long-term guests mainly and an older crowd aged 30-65.

Pros: they provide free cold and hot water, instant coffee, and tea bags. Bag storage is in view of staff so I knew my bags would be safe. They have hanging racks in their girls bathroom. & nice places to hangout if you wear mosquito repellant (there are lots of mosquitoes). They provide a cheap sim card, you'll save about 100,000 having them do it rather than paying at the airport. Only con is it doesn't come with calling or texting, and it takes forever for them to activate it (hours, mine took a full day).

The people are super friendly and nice. Location is close 5-10 mins walk from the main road.

I liked the place. Amazing vibe and ambience.
Free dinner, friendly staff (If you are arrogant they will be arrogant).

Very dirty, lots of spiders and cobwebs. Only two sockets for four people in one room. Bed linen was dirty and you had to wash your own dishes.

For international and local backbackers, this place is amazing! The young guys from Salatiga who run this hostel really know what young people appreciate. I just booked again for the end of May. NOTE: Book early if you want to get in.

Amazing place. Always has a live show on fridays. Free dinner every day, local food. Nice people and travelers. There is a swimming pool too. I love this place!

The best hotel in Denpasar, we feel at home like in the countryside but in the middle of the city, the staff is very pleasant, they often play music here, it's incredible ️?

They treat you like the good kind of family does.

It's just a friendly feel good atmosphere.

For me an exceptional experience and I think it will be for you aswell, if it is the right hostel for you. Please check if you like the following:

They are a hostel (with private room options)
So please don't expect it to be like an all inclusive Hotel. That means the rooms are not luxurious. However they are clean (compared to Bali Hotels easily, but maybe not german hotel standard)

There are house animals like dogs and cats around (all friendly)

They have music every second night at the bar until after midnight. (Depending on the room you might hear it) That however is because:
- Lots of backpacker
- Really cheap alcohol
- Friendly people
- The atmosphere is good
- Live music

The free dinner is really tasty and traditional, but there is no big selection (always vegetarian tough) Eat it if you like the bali foodstyle, but if not, there are cheap restaurants around. So probably no problem. If you want something for breakfast, you have to order it individually (for an affordable price)

Also the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed and not touristic

To sum it up, and explain why I personally love the place ->

They are the cheapest option around. Additional services, food, drinks (alcohol) and bookings are also cheap.

It is ideal for backpacking, and digital Nomads (Wifi is normally good, sometimes a bit slow (lowest for me 5mbps) if everybody is using it at the same time).

They offer a lot like a beautiful pool, bar (and all day breakfast), anti social area (if you want time for yourself/yoga.), some basic weights for a workout, strong AC in the rooms, free dinner, tips for your trip and also the staff is genuine interested to just chat with you if you like to.

Also very helpful in general (our laptop got wet after a severe rain storm. They brought us a whole big bag of rice to put it in and dry it immediately)

Tempat menginap yang super super asyik tempat bersosialisasi dan berkenalan dengan tamu tamu dari berbagai negara seperti keluarga sendiri dan seperti rumah kita sendiri ada free dinner dan kami bisa melakukan banyak permainan yang seru bersama ada live music setelah dinner kami pasti akan kembali lagi

This review is by no means of ill intentions but just sharing from my own personal experience since I still paid in full for the stay and not offered anything to make up for my experience. It's just that I personally would have wanted someone to have told me this before I booked which I think it's fair for me to share my honest opinion. This was the first time in my life that I couldn't not last through the night. I left the hostel at 1am for reasons of being bitten by numerous mosquitos EVEN after killing a dozen, the buzzing around my ears wouldn't stop. The mosquito net had holes in it which really didn't do the job. The wifi there was horrendous. There was no AC. People had belongings EVERYWHERE, from hanging to doors to filthy floors. If all these things check off to not bother you, then I would go ahead and book because the staff are amazing there, supper is provided, great vibe because there are really people immune to all those negatives, just not me unfortunately for 2hr of rest.

Tempatnya asik dan bikin betah banget tinggal di Hostel ini, staff nya seru seru, lucu dan pada pinter main musik. Tempatnya ga bikin bosen, enak buat mager. Recommended!

This is the best Hostel in Bali by far! We came back here over 10 times because it's to nice. Every night there is live music and a very nice atmosphere. They also have the best Nasi goreng of the island, and we tried a lot of them. People stay here more than a month and we totally get that. If you come here you should do the same. If you like fish and you stay at this hostel, go with the owner to the fishmarket and you will have the best experience of your trip. We did this 4 times and have zero regrets.

This really feels like a second home!
