Sila was recommended by our airbnb hostes. We had some great lessons and because of Sila we were able to make it to the line up. He takes his time to analyse your work and explain everything, even about the surfspot itself. He’s patient, friendly and overall it was a great experience!

If you are planning to learn or improve your surf skills, this is the place to book with. Sila and his team are the best coaches my husband and I ever had. First time we surfed with Sila was some years back already and recently with Sila and his team in September this year.
We always got a lot of great advice before, during and after our surf lessons supported with videos of our surf session, which helped improving our surf skills a lot.
In the water Sila always puts us in the right spot to catch the waves and keeps the overview in case there are other students in the way. Also after surfing with him/his team for several days in a row, my arms got super tired from paddling out. So Sila/his team would help me to get back out into the lineup, so I could get some rest and concentrate more on my next take off.
Sila has great knowledge about Kedungu and the surrounding areas and can also help with any advice you need.
At the Kedungu Beach surf shack, there is space to leave your stuff, a huge variety of surf boards, a shower and seats to hang out after your surf and enjoy a drink.
If I could I would give more than five stars and am already counting the days till my next visit in Kedungu and surf lesson with Sila and his team.

Very detailed teaching and unlike I experienced elsewhere, nothing is left to chance here.

Such a great lesson, the guys were all so friendly and we all got some good waves On the day. A lot of fun, would recommend to any one in the area!

Highly recommend! Sila best surf coach i've ever met! (btw so friendly and responsive person) He gives info step by step so you can get solid progress and gives tons of important tips to understand what is surfing about =)

Spot is really good, mostly not crowded and has sections for all skill levels

I have never even think that I could stand and ride from the second lesson on surf. It was amazing and all of it happed thank to my coach - Sila. He is very kind, thoughtful and polite teacher. I feel very comfortable and save with Sila. At the 3rd lessons we even changed the boar. I feel and see a lot of progress after our lessons. My recommendation to everyone!
PS after each lesson we are watching the video of how it was going, so it really helpful to see your own mistakes and fix it next time!

This is my best surfing experience on Bsli. It’s kind of tricky here to find a good teacher with fluent English and adequate price. This was combo. Very good explanations, not just stupid pushing on the wave. Very nice emotional support and what is important, after the session was video analysis of the ride, which is super helpful and important in the very beginning. I had a really good progress within 2 sessions, then I left to another part of Bali, but Sila was my best teacher. Thank you very much!

I’ve took a few lessons during my vacation. It was absolutely amazing!
Good location, not so many surfers around, so you can try to catch waves without any fear.
And coaches are very very good! They create for you some special atmosphere that make you feel relaxed and comfortable.
And after you can grab some Bali coffe or coconut at next door store and watch videos of your ride and guys would explain to you all your mistakes and how to fix them, and of course your best rides)

All coaches are so nice, feel really comfortable since the first day. Surfing, chilling, singing... One of my most chilling day ever! Planning to go back there soon my favorite coach... Silla (when i ran out of my paddling energy, i took GrabSurf ‘Silla’)

Sila is a great coach. I made way more progress in my first two sessions with him than I expected. I really liked that you are filmed from the beach during the session and Sila watches the recording together with you after the session and shows you exactly what can be done better next time.
Also Kedungu Beach is a great location to learn surfing. The beach is not crowded at all and there are different spots with smaller and bigger waves.

Sila is a warm and welcoming instructor. It was a lot of fun to surf with him and I was able to improve my surfing!

Once I moved to Bali I’ve been looking for a surf school and an instructor for private lessons for a long term. The goal was fast solid progression and ofc it must be fun during the process!
My friend suggested CoastlineBali and after the first lesson it was 100% clear for me that I stay with the guys and with Sila surf guru in particular.
I’ve been surfing in a couple schools in the past so I have smth to compare with. If someone asks me - I always recommend Coastline and never heard negative feedback. You guys are great 10/10
