Be wary of this company since you have many to choose from. The driver who picked up my retreat group was rude and one instructor got arrogant with me. He eventually apologized and my group had a great time but seems like there are better options out there.

Had our first lessons, kind and patient guys who have a love for the surf. Very helpful and gave us some great tips. Would definitely recommend for anyone getting into surfing. However a little pricy, but overall well worth for private 1v1 lessons.

Relaxed spot on the beach where beach lounger rental fees are 100k. Staff was also very friendly and attentive.

The surf teachers are the best! They only have good vibes and are super friendly and supportive! Definetely recommend learning surf or renting equipment with them, I will definetely do it if I come back!

Great place to surf. For me it was the first time I’ve tried and they explained everything super well. The entire crew is sooo friendly. Whilst explaining everything they also offered free water and made sure you sit in comfortable chairs. Would absolutely recommend this place!

I definitely recommend Charlie's school! Instructors are great people with a nice attitudes. They teach and mentor from the beginning very well in a nice atmosphere and are focused to make the student independent surfer. They are not focused on taking money for nothing. They always make sure the waves are good for the student level. I am glad I choose them.

I had my very first surf lesson and experience at Charlie Brown Surf Shop and can only recommend it to anyone, who has always harboured the wish of trying it and has not yet dared to do it. Agung and his team offer a great service, accepting me on a walk-in basis for the same day and I had a very enjoyable 1-2-1 session. A huge thank you for making this so much fun!

When we first asked for a spontaneous lesson in the afternoon they said that the currents and waves are bad so they would recommend the next morning. They even paused a lesson and continued on the next day because the waves where bad - big respect for not only wanting the tourists money. They really want to give you a good experience.

Sangat reccomend bagi kalian yg ingin belajar surfing.

My family and I (4 person) took a session with Charlie Brown Surf School. Price was affordable and included hotel transfers, water, surfing equipments, storage area, rinse area and 1- to-1 private instructor individually. Pick up from the hotel was 20 min before start time. 10 -15min theory and we were sent into the water after learning how to stand on the board. The whole session was around 2 hours with a 15-20 min break after the first hour. All the instructors were very friendly and encouraging. The area we were at was more towards a secluded area without a lot of people, and the waves were calm in the evening. We also manage to catch the sunset on the sun beds for free after we were done with the session.

We took a beginners lesson with Abi and Agung and they were great. They were so patient and celebrated every step with us. We had a lot of fun with them. Full recommendation.

I'd highly recommend Charlie Brown Surf School to anyone interested in learning how to surf for the first time or anyone who just wants to improve.

I took two 1: 1 classes with Agung and would have taken a third if weather had cooperated. Agung quickly got a sense of my skill level and adapted our one hour sessions accordingly. His real time feedback while we were out on the water really helped me improve in a very short amount of time. Additionally, Agung and the team were very responsive to any questions I had over WhatsApp.
