Very good massage, friendly staff…we booked a massage for the morning. I know this kind of service from Bali.

I was hesitant to give 2 stars because honestly the treatment itself was amazing. Very relaxing and the therapist was knowledgeable. Their treatments cater for pregnant women too.
The big BUT, is the service from the manager. I posted this after reading another recent reviews from other people. I thought it was only me being sensitive, but apparently other people experienced it too.
The manager was not very welcoming. Asked for the payment upfront (which is unusual for Bali but I thought maybe they have different procedure). But then I noticed this is not the case. After the treatment, I walked out since I have paid and she chased me outside and asked if I have paid when she’s the one who demanded me to pay upfront. That was embarrassing. Just because someone came riding a motorbike or dress up humbly, doesn’t mean they can be treated differently, especially when you asked them to pay upfront. I expected more from a spa that charged higher rate than others in the area.

Great massage and atmosphere, friendly service and staff, blocking from surrounding noise, etc.
The price is in the mid-range, so I cannot recommend it to those who value extreme cost-effectiveness.
However, for those who can afford it, it is good for the price, atmosphere, and relaxation.

I have had many massages in Bali over many years and I can honestly say my 90-min deep tissue massage was one of the best I’ve ever had. The rooms are immaculately clean, quiet and well-presented. The staff are lovely. My therapist checked more than once if the pressure was right for me. This will now be my go-to spa in Sanur

My hubby and I are suckers for great massages! As we were recommended by the staff at Holiday Inn where we stayed and it was a short walk to them. I went for Deep Tissue whilst my hubby went for Aromatherapy massage. They are probably one the very few spas that closes at 6pm and as I found out from the staff since there is no shift, which means they've been working all day. My advise is not to go late for massages in a spa like this as the massuers are understandably tired towards the end of the day. I could have enjoyed it better as I didn't get enough pressure for mine though my hubby loved his.

Excellent pregnancy massage and amazing service for all spa treatments!
We went here and they are highly professional, friendly, attentive, and very skilled at their massages and pedicures and so on, but I must mention that I had an especially outstanding pregnancy massage here twice. It is hard to find places that are trained to accommodate pregnancy massages (more than just telling you to lie on your side) but the rooms are big, the massage tables are bigger and therefore much more comfortable when lying on your side pregnant and also the therapist I had (Ayu!) was so kind and totally understood how to make sure my belly was safe throughout the massage.
I was able to fully relax in the pregnancy massage here which has honestly been harder to find in Sanur than I expected.

Great massage! I had the aromatherapy 60 minute massage and it was very good. Professional and very comfortable and nice place. My masseuse checked the pressure was ok and that I was comfortable. I would definitely return.

Great experience, professional staff! I had the deep tissue massage, I highly recommended for sport's people.

The most incredible and transformative experience at this beautiful spa. Dewi was my masseuse who was exceptional. I had the Royal Chantara Ritual Experience. Do yourself a favour and as for Dewi and ask for the Experience!

My wife and I each had massages at Chantara Wellness and Spa in Sanur - we highly recommend this Centre as the staff were extremely professional, the massages of the highest quality and at a very reasonable price.

I had a fabulous deep tissue massage and would return in a heartbeat. My masseuse was attentive and eager for feedback regarding the strength of the massage. I think she was worried about hurting me but the pressure was excellent. I asked her to focus on certain areas and came out feeling relieved of my tension with a small/good amount of soreness the following day as my muscles recovered. Highly recommend.

Untuk driver yg bawa tamu ke tempat ini, tidak di sarankan. Tidak ada tempat parkir. Dan tidak ada tempat untuk driver menunggu tamu. Kita hanya angin lalu yg tidak berarti.

Wonderful experience. I felt like my soul left my body. Lovely staff and one of the best massages I’ve ever had.

Huge thanks to Chantara Spa we tried Nusantara Heritage ritual and additional bath bliss.the treatment was great, my body feels way better than yesterday. I will definitely be back for more sessions. They were very kind, the hot tub wasn’t hot enough for us and they brought boiling water to mix in the tub️ Ms. Wiwik is very skillful and her technique was wonderful. Terima kasih ibu Wiwik

Today I visited Chantara again, after last month unpleasant service the Manager Wiwik immediately contacted me to apologise and offered me a free session. I can say the service is now much improved. All A-Z service today was superb, from the greeting, drink, menu, oil options, cleanliness of the place, and the ambience of the place and the massage quality.i think I had a relaxing deep sleep while enjoying the 90 minutes massage. Would definitely come back again!

This is my 8th visit, and i never been tgis dissapointed with the service. First, i wasnt offered to choose the oil fragrant that i prefer, second, i was offered a drink but when it came the glass is very dirty and have lipstick stain. I asked the room lights to be reduced but still too bright i have to ask again. I ordered deeptissue massage, but what is given is traditional massage without paying attention to the points of tense musle. The therapist didnt ask me at first if the pressure is enough, i have given clear response that i need more power. But still not changed into the level. Ineed it to be. And the massage time finished 10 mins before it supposed to end. Tshis is the worst session I ever had with Chantara

Oh. My. Gosh. I just had the BEST massage and cupping treatment of my life from Wiwik, at the Chantara spa in Sanur!

She is a healer to the max! She massively improved my lower back pain, and pinpointed the real source of the injury. She’s an angel, and a born healer.

I am going to try and make all my friends come here from around the island just to receive her healing magic! I could barely walk 4 days ago when lower back spasms landed me on the floor. I could only craw for days.

It’s so vulnerable to put yourself in someone’s hands when you are injured, but Wiwik is SO sensitive and attuned to the body. She has the perfect balance of intense deep tissue strength, with tender healing touch, so it’s never too much. The intensity is always amazing and healing.

Her English is amazing too, so she’s easy to communicate with, and she’s an absolute sweet heart! Do yourself a favor and come experience her magic!
