I had the most delicious Indian food experience in Bali at this restaurant. Every dish I tried was a culinary delight, and I can't praise it enough. I'd easily rate it 10/10 and highly recommend it to anyone looking for exceptional Indian cuisine in Bali. Don't miss out on this culinary gem!

Great place for home cooked food.
I would visit every time I am able to visit Bali and suggest to all my friends and family.

We went there because the menu on their website said they have Thali’s but they don’t do them anymore, so that was disappointing.

We then ordered the palak paneer, daal makhani, butter naan and masala kulcha - the daal & masala kulcha was good
- palak was below average
- butter naan was rubbery

It was quite an expensive meal and based on cost vs taste, don’t think it’s worth it.

High prices for good quality are total fine. But they use disgusting quality chicken and charge premium prices

Brilliant, they don't take bookings, so don't leave it too late or you're not getting a table

The first meal I have eaten in all of Indonesia, it opens the soul, God willing. It is delicious. I strongly recommend it. The orders are all delicious. (We ordered the spicy food and it came spicy. If anyone does not like spicy, ask for without or mild)

As the wise person said, if you go to an Indian place where you don’t know how to exactly pronounce it, you know you’re in for a good treat.

The restaurant is very excellent and the food is very tasty, but its problem is that the place is somewhat small, so if it is crowded, it is not useful to bring your family, but young people are normal.

I have been to many indian restaurants in various parts of the world, I went to the restaurant last night and was impressed by the quality of food and the friendly waiting staff specifically Karra. And today my wife wanted to go there again and today’s experience was above my expectations,

Being in the restaurant business for over 30 years and owning Indian restaurants both in England and Canada, my wife and I enjoy trying restaurants wherever we travel. Over the last 32 years we have visited numerous Indian restaurants in many countries, with the usual disappointment. And we approached Chai’ba with much the same attitude.
We were both quite surprised and thoroughly impressed that our expectations were more than met here.

Hands down they made the best old fashioned I have had here in Bali and my wife’s fennel Mojito also unusual but on point. So a great bar tender and a great beginning.

The appetizer, chicken seekh kebab was juicy, tender, perfectly spiced and cooked to perfection.
The lemon fried chicken also very tasty, which my wife had as her main and I ordered the lamb organ Josh, although very tasty was more like lamb curry, I have always made it, served and seen recipes in which the dish is made in a Karai with little sauce and sometimes with nuts. Nonetheless excellent flavour.
The garlic naans were very good, thinner and smaller than what I am used to, but a suggestion would be to have cooked them a little longer as the edges were still a little doughy and raw.
We would have loved to have finished with a traditional dessert, but alas here is where I feel the the restaurant may have fallen slightly short as it seems they do not make any.
The server must have been new as she was a little tentative, but she was attentive. Maybe having new servers shadow before placing them on floor may help in making am even better guest experience.
Overall, out of the two top Indian restaurants in Bali from what I have read, and after trying both, this one is a hands down winner.

Really fresh food n super yum! I was fasting, they also made for me no onion garlic food on request!

Finally, a proper Indian restaurant in the heart of Seminyak - we were greeted by the friendliest waitress by the name of Putu. She took our order - we ordered lamb seekh kebab, garlic cheese naan & paneer tikka for starters. The lamb seekh kebab was so succulent, and tasty - something we would highly recommend. The paneer was fresh although I noticed there was an underlying hint of mustard - the waitress then explained that they use abit of mustard oil! Which is quite unusual to find in a tikka dish! The garlic cheese nan was nice, lot's of gooey, cheesiness oozing out out the naan bread!

We ordered chicken tikka masala with cucumber raita and a garlic naan for mains and this did not disappoint. A solid 9/10 for the chicken tikka - only thing that I would probably change is I'd have had some chicken breast pieces in there as oppose to all leg meat (but that is just my preference).

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our visit here!

This is the second time for me to eat here and I am not disappointed. My friend and I ordered Garlic cheese naan and Butter naan with Chicken briyani and Butter chicken curry. Everything is delicious. I will definitely come back to try others on the menu.
The restaurant itself is cozy and the restroom is clean. Overall, it's fantastic.

Is this the best Indian restaurant in Bali? Sure is. Great to be back again. Excellent vegetarian options, stylish decor, wonderful service.

Sadly, my favorite indian restaurant in bali had to closed down due to covid.but now, it is already replaced by this underrated indian restaurant located in seminyak area.so good.perfect for sharing.
