Campuhan Ridge Walk ulasan
17Nice walk, it's a bit long though. Best done at dawn or dusk. Ends in a village with views over Paddy fields. Suggest get there by 5 and up by 6 and park yourself on a rooftop restaurant to rest and enjoy the (partial) sunset.
5 years ago it was very beautiful, now let go. They don't cut the plants on the side of the road and you can't see anything anymore. Access from both the north and the south where you can see a temple from the outside
Nice accessible trail from Ubud. We survived this on slippers! The pathway is uneven to walk on (there were spaces between the square slabs) so it’s difficult to run. Lots of people during sunset.
Overrated.wonder what the fuss is all about.walking on a stone path with trees and plants on both sides.hardly any views to speak about.got a couple of decent photos though
For some reason, this path is already included in guidebooks. And indeed, in Bali there is absolutely nowhere to go for a walk and this is a miracle. But probably almost any ordinary large city park is 100,500 times cooler. In general, there is nothing to see, just a walk up the hill and back. 20 minutes one way. Parking is free, but there may not be any spaces closer to sunset. At 17 o'clock no question
I don't know why the reviews are this good. You won't see anything. The views are blocked by forest even on the ridge.
An amazing walk, safe but with a few initial steps, not wheelchair-friendly due to its sacred nature. Takes about 20 minutes, with great photo spots and occasional garbage containers. Spot interesting animals along the way.
One of the reason why i love going to Ubud. I've visited this place 3 times and never get bored with it.
Trekkimg spot with aprox 1,5 km long.
2 entrance, from higher end or lower end. No entrance ticket.
To find some peace and quiet before the hustle and bustle in Ubud. OK, nothing more. Completely overrated so only one star. A dirt path would also be much more pleasant to walk on than the uneven slabs with gaps that are too large.
Overpriced trail. Next to it is the Orange trail (we noticed it by chance) and I found it much more interesting. The only plus was at the end, where there is a sensational drink stand
Beautiful little walk for anyone visiting Ubud, takes you through rice fields and along forests on a well maintained path
As with all of my Bali recommendations- go for sunrise. Unless you like lines of people taking pictures and crowds of zombies staring at their phones. Go for sunrise. You've made it this far.
Stroll on this free trek which takes you through the varied landscapes of the central highland town of Ubud. It is a nice escape from the cluttered streets of the main towns into the green. Tread upon some untrodden trails hidden around the ridge walk and strike your best pose to add in your Bali diaries album. Walking on this trail is more like surrendering yourself to nature.
So beautiful. We left at 7.15am to avoid the heat and crowds which was definitely a great idea because on our way back at about 10am the path was quite busy and found ourselves walking behind a lot of slow people. Being there not long after sunrise was very beautiful, the trees were still quite misty and eery in the morning light. We wandered up to the village just north of the cafes that greet you when you finish the actual ridge track, and then stopped at Karsa Kafe for breakfast. I think we preferred walking past the track into the village because there are more rice paddies and far less tourists.
Fee: free
Good for: jogging, walking the dog, photo shooting, pre-wedding with nature vibe, get the fresh air
Tips: the golden hour view is awesome, morning walk is recommended to try
Surrounding area: campuhan bridge, sari organic path and cafe, ubud center
Good place for a slow walk or a jog at the early morning or late evening. Stay after sunset and enjoy the night sky. Do bring touch light as there are no street lights. There are afew shops selling drink and food.
